Need to learn a lot of macros to compensate for less keys but works as intended

My overall thoughts on this keyboard are, as long as you understand what youre getting for the price, its a great platform to build on. Pros - Bluetooth & 2.4Ghz connectivity - Hot swap keyswitches - Great platform for modding Cons: - Included coiled USB-C cable was faulty - Stock keycaps had some molding issues (I planned to replace them, so this isnt a deal breaker) - Included documentation is not entirely helpful. There are three input modes/layers that can be switched through with FN + Ctrl, and the documentation does not mention this at all. Mine was in an input mode that did not allow me to type at first, and I had to search for the keystrokes to switch to the correct input layer. - Battery life is abysmal. 500mAh is such a low capacity to begin with, and I have to charge the keyboard after about 10 hours of use. - The software for controlling the RGB lighting is not fully available, the user has to go looking for the software and rely on sketchy Google Drive links to download the unpublished version of the software. - Its unclear whether this is an issue with the software or my keyboard, but the red and green RGB channels are swapped, meaning I have to set colors through trial and error. This may sound like Im unhappy with the board, but realistically, most of those issues are non-functional, and can be fixed with a little extra investment. The RGB issue is annoying, but can be worked around. My biggest complaint about the board is with the battery life, and that is why Ive given it only 3 stars. With a bigger battery, I would be tempted to give it at least 4 stars, despite the other issues.

RK61 RGB Wireless: Black Ended up with brown switches after trying the red switch version. With the red switches I couldnt feel when the button was being depressed and I couldnt lightly rest my hand on the keys without accidentally pressing a key. Brown was perfect and what I was used to, with an ever so slight resistance prior to a smooth downstroke. Pros: -Bluetooth and wired works well and connected to any supported devices easily. -Keys arent bad at all. Relatively quiet and feel the same as my older Logitech board. -RGB has a bunch of options and the software allows for more customization. Cons: -2.4ghz wireless was dead on arrival, all troubleshooting options were exhausted with no success -Battery life wasnt amazing, but was fine for a day of gaming -Software was difficult to find and not amazingly designed (spelling errors) I couldnt figure out how to reprogram the default layers. If you wanted to reprogram the y key to something other than printscreen while fn is held, not do-able. It supports basic remaps of keys, function layers not included I guess. -RGB isnt the brightest and the white is kind of a cool white -61% is not a great format without decent software support. Third-party applications exist that allow better customization such as AutoHotkey (Windows only) but theyre only software based and cannot be added to the hardware so customization can be taken with you on the keyboard itself. If you dont care about customization of remaps and macros and dont mind the size format, get this, its great. If youre looking for a top of the line software and tons of customization and a great software, dont get this. I only use Windows and android and Ive utilized AutoHotkey to improve usability while on Windows. For the money its totally acceptable to me.
