> 3 dayI wanted to give this 5 stars so bad, the keyboard is awesome but it did come dirty :( I’ve been scrubbing the keys for a few minutes and it’s still got marks all over it.

> 3 dayIll keep it simple. What I like: - Smooth transition from one color to another - Different color patterns - Can change the brightness and speed - Wireless (kinda...) - Perfect size, not too big What I dont like: - Battery dies FAST - Once the battery dies, lights too, and once you charge it, lights wont go on until you plug it into the computer and use the app to change it (very annoying to do all the time) - Hard to tell when it will be low battery (usually blinks red on the bottom corner of the keyboard) I try my best to charge it before it runs out battery so I dont have to do the tedious work of turning the lights back on.

> 3 dayTo conclude, the Royal Kludge RK61, in my opinion, is one of the best budget alternatives to the popular Anne Pro 2 when it comes to 60% compact keyboards. The layer implementation on this keyboard is very well thought off with a combination of both activating each layer and toggling it using the FN key which makes transitioning to this compact form factor much easier for beginners. The typing experience, for the most part, is very good with the RK red switch having a smooth up and down travel, my only issue is with the quite rattly spacebar. Gaming performance is also pretty decent in both wired and wireless mode since NKRO works properly on both. Although I had some issues with Bluetooth connectivity on one of my 2 RK61, the one that I’ve been using for months now as a backup keyboard works flawlessly without any perceivable latency which is very vital. The battery endurance is also quite substantial with power-saving mode. Overall, there’s not much to complain about this keyboard and for its price, I don’t think there’s any reason not to get it if you’re looking for the best budget 60% compact keyboard.

> 3 dayI have been using the RK61 for a bit over a year now and I am very satisfied with this keyboard. The backlight is not as bright as I hoped in bright environments but in darker settings the backlighting is perfect. Although I primarily use this keyboard for gaming I highly do not recommend using this keyboard where lots of keybinds are required for you or have an obsession with macros (This can be said for any 60% keyboard), since you are losing out on 40 extra keys, you are going to have to adapt to using the Fn key more often, especially when using arrow keys or the / key if you use commands on discord or the console in certain games.

> 3 dayFirst impressions out of the box were great. Keyboard is nice and heavy, keys have a wonderful sound with the brown switches. Only issue I have is the lack of a manual for all the shortcuts and the key combinations. Its taken me way too much time searching to find out how this keyboard functions. Asides from that the keyboard is great because it works both corded and blue tooth and via USB dongle. Its a perfect size and the weight is substantial to most generic plastic keyboards. I would recommend for an entry level user and someone looking to learn about pulling keyboards apart and upgrading. I use it generally for gaming and chatting and it has been a good experience. Some might miss the extra keys but make sure you read which keys are not included for your gaming puposes.

Wish they had better functions and information on the keyboard how to use it how to get it in a functional mode it being a 60% keyboard there is a lot of Keys you need to remember

> 3 dayThe price does not reflect how amazing the build quality is of this keeboard. You dont need to replace or mod anything, the switches are so responsive and it feels heavy/good quality. Coming from a 90$ hunstman mini I was not expecting the difference but its something you only feel after trying it. Similar to switching monitor hz for gaming!

Greater than one weekIm not some keyboard snob, just a gamer and writer who uses a keyboard both for work and for fun. I recently got the urge to build my own keyboard but having never even tried a 60 percent keyboard, I thought Id buy this one and give it a shot before investing in such an expensive project. Now I might not bother. This has everything I wanted for this form factor and typing on it is a joy. I expected to use this for a few days then switch back to my Black Widow Elite and save this as a backup, but after owning this keyboard for over a week now, Im going to hang on to it. While its not quite as convenient for gaming, thats due to the form factor and not the keyboard, itself.

> 3 dayGreat keyboard. This replaced the one that I got when I got my first PC. If you lack strong fingers this keyboard will be a workout even for a lot of PC gamers. After using this keyboard exclusively for a few months I will say that holding down on some keys becomes a pain. (Looking at you, W and Shift keys)
