Greater than one weekLove this keyboard with the brown switch!!! It is very professional performance, compact and yet same key size and spacing, solid build, handle multiple operating systems at same time, and looks great. At first, got this keyboard because I wanted a mechanical keyboard to handle my Jetson Nano (Linux OS like Raspberry Pi) and keep around on desk with my Windows machine Logitech mechanical gaming keyboard (Logitech G810). I type a lot with the Windows machine for work and the software development job I do so I need a keyboard that is fast, feels good for typing, and fingers can easily maneuver with it from the first minute to the 12th hour or continuous use. I got this keyboard because it was small and had to be on my desk at the same time that I had my main use Logitech keyboard. After using this new keyboard I changed my mind about keeping two keyboards on my desk at the same time. This keyboard will be the only keyboard on my desk. This keyboard is much better in most features I described above and more than the Logitech mechanical keyboard; makes me sad because I really like the Logitech keyboard. The Logitech does have the up/down/left/right arrows separated and a very important feature you might think twice about before getting this keyboard. The manufacturer totally missed out on the keyboard increase and decrease volume. This could be a deciding point for many people because you dont want to hunt around for volume if you are doing something fast and continuous; I almost did not get this keyboard because of that and this manufacturer is probably missing a lot of more detailed experienced customers on this issue; THERE IS A FIX - read easy fix in following paragraph below. This keyboard switches between Windows and Linux (between computers) with ease where the Logitech and others have difficulty because of software they download and place in Windows with no other support. For this keyboard I did not download any software and it maintains all the color settings; function key settings are done from the operating systems so that does not matter for me. The colors chosen and area of display is also much better and a professional feel than the Logitech and the color pallet and lighting balance make me feel good; I used to do a little of lighting design and this feels more professional than some cheap lit keyboard that feels like it was won at some kids arcade. Programming the function keys on Linux is easy. On Windows you can download AutoHotKey and create a very short three line script for volume up down and mute; plenty of examples you could copy/paste and modify. Remember to place finished script in startUp directory to work with computer restart. The free non-commercial app (have not noticed any spy or adware software with it) will also allow any other modification of key press with mouse interaction; for example open some app on key-press or hold windows key with mouse buttons to control volume... or anything you probably any functionality running through your mind. I am very picky about keyboards, I dont like a car with just an OK suspension that fails in bad weather or keeps you from driving fast and easy. I like a more accurate, precise, and fast acting suspension on a car that makes driving fast like driving half the speed with out getting stressed out for a very long distance. This keyboard is that.

> 3 dayI purchased this keyboard because I wanted something similar size as my Akko 3068 and that was also wireless. In the photos youll notice pictures of what looks to be a white USB dongle and mention throughout the listing that it supports 2.4Ghz and Bluetooth however after receiving the keyboard, reading through the manual and looking for a missing dongle I realized there is no dongle. What they mean by 2.4 Ghz is simply that it supports bluetooth (which is 2.4Ghz) the picture of the dongle I guess is just to show what a bluetooth dongle looks like I suppose? I do not want to use Bluetooth for my keyboard and in some cases cant (e.g. BIOS settings) so I am now stuck with a wired keyboard, which isnt what I was after. Based on this confusing description Im docking 2 stars, perhaps I should have remembered what frequency bluetooth is and ignored the random photos of said dongle, still feels misleading. Reviewing this a wired keyboard... Build quality is good, feels more solid than my AKKO 3068 (probably due to the battery) its also quieter - in a good way. The in-keyboard settings to control the RGB shenanigans worked well and was able to set it to a white solid color, no complaints there and actually better experience than I would have hoped. I dont really care for the lights at all and will probably disable them. I might try messing with bluetooth but really not what I was after in the first place.

> 3 dayDuring my initial time with this keyboard, I loved it. For a 60% keyboard, it fit what I needed it for and provided a nice RGB experience, all while maintaining a minimalist form factor. This keyboard lasted me a while! Until... I started using the keyboard for gaming. Playing games like Overwatch and Call of Duty felt so nice using a small keyboard. However, over time, I noticed that my W key was starting to not work. I searched EVERYWHERE on the internet on why this could be happening to me. Searching hardware and software, I couldnt seem to find why my W key wasnt working. So, I did what a normal customer would do, and I returned it back to Amazon for a brand new keyboard. I was so happy to find out that I had a W key that worked again! A month later, I was in the middle of a Call of Duty game, when my character stopped moving forward entirely. I would press the W key, however nothing happened. I wanted to investigate, and get to the bottom of what was actually happening. Gateron Red Switch. While I do believe that I received a red switch, I expected to see a Gateron logo printed on the switch itself. However, that was NOT the case. Instead, I was greeted with a Outemu logo printed on the switch. For those who dont know, brands like Gateron, Kailh, and Outemu like to make clone switches from the Cherry MX brand. Gateron and Kailh have gained a lot of traction and presence within the switch-buying market. However, another brand, Outemu, is known as the cheapest switch to buy, and are commonly found in cheap mechanical keyboards. So, if you like buying something and getting something totally different, this is the product for you. It was then where I found the culprit of the situation. A product that claims to sell Gateron switches, which I do dearly love, actually sells a different switch that isnt of the same quality. If you just need something to get through the day and maybe connect with an iPad or a tablet, then this is a great choice. However, if you expect to do any intense gaming, this may not be the one for you.

> 3 dayI got this because I am tired of using my regular laptop keyboard with hard to press keys. It was the most affordable keyboard I could find and it is bluetooth. I have a MacBook so it does not have any USB ports on it so I have to filter out everything else adn this beautiful keyboard jsut spoke to me. It is really bright when it comes to RGB and it is hot swap. They switches are a little loud but tolerable. The lights are so customizable and you can change the speed, mode, and you can change the color of them to your choice and it is amazing. The switches sound high quality, I got the blue switches. It increased my productivity and skills in video games and I am really thankful for that. Overall, best budget friendly keyboard on the market.

> 3 dayI was initially drawn to the aesthetic of the keyboard, and it definitely does not disappoint. It is a fantastic looking keyboard. Unfortunately, 60% keyboards are generally form over function, sacrificing usability for a smaller (albeit nicer looking) footprint. Also nice that it comes with a coiled cable too, which adds even more the aesthetic. Now onto the bad parts: I would recommend 60% keyboard to most people. Again, I recognize that this isnt the companys fault, but there are a lot of small differences between using a 60% keyboard and a more traditionally sized one. First of all, the F keys are all compressed into the the number row (you can look at the picture product for reference). Each key in the top row has four different functionality and it is not at all intuitive how you switch between using the top row as function and as numbers (you hit Fn + Left Shift). If you do anything or play any games that require both the F keys and numbers (aka League), this keyboard will likely not cut it. Also to hit tilde (~), you have to hit Fn + Shift + Esc. Basically, if you want to use this keyboard, you will have to relearn a lot of muscle memory, which takes a bit of getting used to (not impossible though). And getting used to the keyboard wouldnt be that bad if the software on the keyboard was more intuitive. One last but nitpicky point: the space bar is significantly louder and makes a more distinct sound than other keys. I havent had mine for even a week and I am returning it. I think it is a great product, but I myself should have understood what it takes to use a 60% keyboard more. I will return this for a 70% one.

> 3 dayI searched for a 60% keyboard because I would keep smacking my mouse into my larger one while gaming on low sensitivity, and this one was at least $20 cheaper than the competition while having the same features if not more. REVIEW It does not have dedicated arrow keys (function keys needed) or kick out feet, which I knew before buying so no problem there. The included Bluetooth was not something I personally used, but the option being there at this price point is pretty nice. The case is plastic but I had no issue with the build quality, it feels solid. After a full year of use, it is just as solid and reliable. Ive used Brown Cherry MX switches before and the Gateron Brown switches are great in my opinion. Tactile and pretty quiet. Oh, and the keyboard lights up with pretty colors! Overall this keyboard met all my expectations and then some. The cherry on top was the aesthetic it gave my setup, the only things on my desk were my 3XL mousepad, mouse, and 60% keyboard. Initially it didnt seem like too much changed swapping from my TKL keyboard, but when I put it next to the 60% it looked bulky and extra in caparison. PROS -Relatively affordable -Space Saving -ACTUAL RGB with different color modes - Bluetooth if youre into that -Minimal aesthetic -Good switches CONS -No dedicated arrow keys -No kickout feet TL;DR: Its small, aesthetic, feature packed, and affordable. If you use arrow keys a lot, it may not be worth. If space is the priority, it is definitely worth.

Greater than one weekPros: Small, light, compact Hot swappable and 5 pin switch support Wireless dongle and bluetooth Cheap Cons: Stock keycaps feel chalky Slightly harder to get used to 60% layout compared to full layout. Overall, 9/10 budget keyboard, would recommend if you need to save money on a cheap keyboard you wanna mod. If you don’t want to mod, you should consider buying a more expensive keyboard.

Greater than one weekThe price does not reflect how amazing the build quality is of this keeboard. You dont need to replace or mod anything, the switches are so responsive and it feels heavy/good quality. Coming from a 90$ hunstman mini I was not expecting the difference but its something you only feel after trying it. Similar to switching monitor hz for gaming!

> 3 dayI bought this keyboard recently and have had a few issues. For starters the alt key acts as a windows key which isnt a super big deal I just switched the keycaps. Also well the case was scratched when I got it. The switches i got where the reds and I dont think there the best they feel scratchy out of the box but if you lube them there not as bad. As well as the sound there very loud out of the box but I put some foam in the case it which was super easy to do. But overall those are the only issues i have had so far recommend buying this if your getting into learning about keyboards.

> 3 dayIll just do an initial impressions/opinions first then the pros and cons list after. Ive gone through the flagship keyboards of nearly every major brand you can think of: Razer, Logitech, Cherry, Corsair, Roccat, and others. But only a couple of them (IMHO of course) have been better than this keyboard and not overall, just in certain ways. Ill explain: Razer usually blows the budget on lighting. I think we all know thats their main draw. But their keys are AT BEST comparable to these. Logitech always has all the bells and whistles, but again, key switches are comparable at best. Corsair probably has marginally better keys (in that they are usually not dry but, rather, dry lubed and not very clacky which, for some, is great and others, not so great). But the feel of these brown key switches? Oh lord... Its like typing on the smoothest and yet... I cant really describe what I think when I type on it. It just feels right. Pros: Key switches, while proprietary, are outstanding: not obnoxiously clicky and loud, but feel nice to press RGB Colors are very vivid Key travel distance is rather short which I see as a pro; YMMV Very sturdy construction Cons: RGB lighting is not as bright as other main stream brands Brown switches are not for everyone, they take stronger fingers to use effectively (only my opinion) Its a 60% keyboard, you know what youre getting into with secondary key functions; however, once you learn where they are, its not that bad Lack of adjustable feet/legs; not a huge deal as the design almost negates the need for them, its still just a bit low for my liking These of course are only my opinions and only reflect as much. I purchased this keyboard for 10% off, but that was an Amazon deal and I was not compensated in any way for this review. It reflects my true and honest thoughts on the RK Royal Kludge RGB 60% Mechanical Keyboard, brown switches, white.
