COVID has me working in my small home office. I have my work MacBook, my Windows Laptop, and my old iMac all jammed onto a small desktop. Wanting to clean up my desk, I was looking for a Bluetooth keyboard that would work with all three. Which brought me to this small, wireless keyboard with the ability to pair with three machines. Heres the good news, this is a well-made keyboard. Its fast. If you have the ability to type very fast, the switches on this keyboard have strong tactile feedback that allows you to actuate each key without fully depressing the key. If you arent a touch typist, this probably isnt the keyboard for you. If you are a touch typist, you have three key combos that you will need to learn, or the benefits of this keyboard miss you entirely. This is a noisy keyboard, for a reason. If you are a touch typist, you may like the audible click each keypress makes. This is, however, not a friendly keyboard for use in a shared workspace. This is a small keyboard, but it has full-sized keys. This is great if you are a touch typist with a small, private, workspace. It does require some tradeoffs. In order to make the keyboard small, but retain full-sized keys, there are fewer keys than a standard 101 keyboard, this machine has multiple functions or layers for many of the keys. This keyboard has full-sized arrow keys that occupy one layer. Press Fn+Enter and that layer is disabled and now the up arrow becomes the /? key. Left arrow becomes the right Alt key and the Right arrow becomes the right CTRL-key. (Im not sure what the down arrow becomes.) Tada! In my case, I also need to flip the functions of the keyboard from windows to Mac. To do that, I hit Fn+A or Fn+S Then I have access to all the windows or Apple functions. I can use Fn Q to switch to my work laptop, Fn W to switch to my windows laptop and Fn E to switch to my old iMac. Kudos to this keyboard for having EXCELLENT Bluetooth management and excellent power management. It reliably stays connected to the machine I want it connected. It reliably switches on command. It reliably reconnects after it has gone to sleep. In this regard, it is even better than my old Apple wireless keyboard. Finally, the top row of keys acts both as your regular numeral row and your Function keys. To toggle that layer, I hit Fn+Ctrl to flip back and forth. Admittedly, Remembering these three key combos takes a little getting used to. The instructions are sparse, but they exist, and the keyboard functions as advertised. This is a loud, clicky keyboard. I kinda like it, though I have to close my office door or my wife will comment on the noise. The keyboard has survived its first week of use on one charge, so that seems acceptable. It charges through its included USB cable. The battery is permanent and not hot-swappable. The key switches are permanently soldered in, so they arent swappable either. The keycaps are swappable, and I may just buy a new keycap for the WIN button. Oh, it has amber lights. I have the black version of this keyboard and they look nice, though I dont really need all the wavy patterns. The layers thing doesnt bother me too much, but it is hard to get used to my wife laughing whenever I type. _____ Ive spent a bit more time with this keyboard and Ive added a start. It was easy for me to add the Fn+Enter to toggle the arrow keys and Fn+Ctrl to toggle the function keys. Im super happy with the ability to switch between three devices on demand. This really is a great keyboard for the money, and the seller did a great job getting the keyboard shipped promptly. They even sent a personal follow up email to ensure everything went well and that all my questions were answered.

***UPDATE This keyboard is wireless, bluetooth, mechanical, has great build quality, and works with up to 3 devices. The ONLY detractor i found was that the arrow keys did double duty. Since i dont regularly use the arrow keys this was an issue for me as one of the keys was the / key that i use for programming and such. The user pamphlet shows how to lock these keys. if you are a programmer that is mouse specific then green light and buy. if you use arrow keys you might want to buy a different keyboard. I am completely happy with this keyboard now that i found it. WORD-OF-ADVICE: Keep the pamphlet that comes with it. You will need to refer back to it for sure. This keyboard is great. The feel of typing is amazing. The lack of a number pad is an annoyance i knew going in to the purchase. I was looking for bluetooth not RF or other wireless method so went for it. Once think i was not aware of at the time of purchase is the / key needs to have the Fn key pressed as well otherwise it is a number key. This is a deal breaker of me as i needed this in order to type programs and other technical documents. Buyer beware if you fall into this demographic as well. I am trying to see if there is a way i can disable the number keys and use them as their functions only. As of yet i have been unsuccessful. If i am able to lock these keys, then i can recommend for programmers.

Para aquellos que nos arriesgamos a comprar un teclado con estas caracteristicas, les recomiendo esta opcion. el teclado es tal cual lo muestran o podria decir que mejor. me gusto mucho, considero que vale la pena la inversion.

the keyboard design is very much flawed, with certain commonly used keys combined within one key, say /, ?, and upper arrow, you have to constantly use shift and function keys to get the intended keys. I understand this is a compact keyboard, but to combine three commonly used keys under one just doesnt work. Could be a great keyboard, but now it is just so hard to use.

I coudnt get this keyboard to connect with my desktop but I believe my desktop doenst have bluetooth capability. Although its only one background color, there are many modes that are easily changed by the flick of a key. Pretty cool. The blue switches are amazing. They are clicking away as I write. Amazing. Two things I dont like: Im used to having the Enter button in the bottom right corner which you lose with this keyboard, but Ill get used to it I suppose. The other thing I dont care for is the functionality b/c I dont use if for gaming; more so for typing there are some functions you miss from a regular keyboard, but naturally youll give up something to conserve the space. This little keyboard is build well with ergonomics in mind. Although it lays flat on the desk, the keys arch up nice at the top level.

I’m typing my review on this keyboard. I got the white one with the blue switches (I think they are Kailh Blues) and I’m pretty impressed with this keyboard for the price. Many of the reviews on this products complain about the weird placement of the arrow keys and combined functions of other keys, but in reality that the nature of most 60% keyboards. The wireless connection is solid, although using it without a cord for gaming introduces a good amount of input lag (blues are crap for gaming anyway). There seems to be an older version and an updated one, the updated one has some more ergonomic key combos to activate certain functions, and also have a USB-C cable, which is much preferable to a micro USB. Make sure you guys look at the manual and keep it in case you cant remember some of the unmarked key presses, such as ctrl + enter to disable the arrow keys. Typing on this keyboard is very satisfying, with a nice click and feedback every time you press a key. The keys are well spaced, and they each have enough heft so they can’t be pressed by accident. Someone with larger hands shouldn’t have much trouble using this to type. Also due to its size it is pretty easy to carry around in bag if you are trying to use it as a portable keyboard. I also like the fact that you can pair it to 3 separate devices at once and switch between them very easily. The backlighting is pretty great, especially when typing in the dark. All the other lighting mode other than the standard one are a little too flashy though. I usually just turn it off to save battery, which has been pretty good so far. I’m also using this on a iPad and it paired really easily and has had 0 problems with it so far. Make sure to switch to Mac mode from the Windows mode or vice versa. (Ctrl + A or ctrl + S) The downsides of this keyboard are the key legend which is a little cheesy, as well as how loud it is (that’s the nature of all blue switches though). Also if you listen closely beyond the loud clicking of the keys, there is some metallic pinging that can be heard. It isnt the greatest sounding thing in the world, but is mostly drowned out by the clickiness of the keys. Overall this is a great and rather discrete looking keyboard that is great value. Hopefully reliability is good, will update if anything happens to it. Buy this if you are considering it. EDIT: They are Outemu blues

This was my first mechanical keyboard, and the typing was very satisfying (I purchased the red switches). However, I often use keyboard shortcuts, and this keyboard is inconvenient for some shortcuts. For example, Ctrl + RightArrow is hard to use, since I need to press LeftCtrl + Fn + RightCtrl, but then this mistakenly switches the keyboard mode! Fn + LeftCtrl will turn 1-9 into F1-F9. It may also be confusing for some people if they accidentaly change the keyboard mode. I tried to use the m key and it didnt work until I realized it was acting as the End key because I accidentaly switched the mode. There are 3 modes for the Fn keys, 2 modes for the arrow keys, and 2 modes for Windows/Apple.

I bought this as a less expensive replacement for cherry MX switches, to play OSU the rhythm game. My old membrane keyboard doesnt hold well against crazy ZX hits and I decided to get something else. First impressIon: Pros: 1. keyboard feels sturdy. This feels heavier than my old Razer cynosa chroma. (60% keyboard vs a full keyboard) 2. backlighting is cool. 17 different patterns and you can adjust the brightness and speed. 3. I tried both the wired and wireless mode, doesnt feel any noticeable delay in key strokes when using wireless. (could be depending on your pcs Bluetooth function, tho) Cons: 1. SHIFT, CAPSLOCK, ENTER keys feels much softer and squishy than the other keys. 2. key delay: This is not an issue. Just for reference, certain lighting effects might impose a delay on the keystroke response time. Ill be adding reviews as I keep using this keyboard.

I bought this for super cheap when they were doing a sale. The cool blue backlight is pleasing to the eye. The backlighting effects are neat but unnecessary in my opinion. The RK blue clicky switches are very similar to gateron blues: Not so loud that it annoys me to type on, just a satisfying tactile click. Its still to much noise for an office environment though. I have installed dampeners that prevent the keycaps from bottoming out so it makes even less noise, but its still more audible than say a cherry mx or gateron brown. I use this keyboard (almost) expressly for my cellphone for texting, social media, or whatnot. It stays plugged in most of the time to a charger. So I have to turn on the bluetooth which is quite easy. It also is connected to my iPad and PC; and switching between them is a simple FN+Q,FN+W,or FN+E. And that works much better and reliably faster than any bluetooth headphones Ive ever owned. I do have a couple of gripes: 1. It will only stay connected via bluetooth before disconnecting for one minute without touching a key. Then I have to hit a key to get it to reconnect. My SK61 board is closer to 5 mins and more preferable. I wish that was adjustable. 2. The switch to turn on the Blutooth is on the back. Kind of annoying when youre not used to it. I wish there was a hot-key combo that powers it on and off like other keyboards. 3. When switched on, it does NOT save the setting of having the arrow keys (ALT,MENU,CTRL, and ?) turned off. You have to turn it off to use a question mark for typing EVERY SINGLE TIME. This combo is (FN+enter). A minor, but noteworthy gripe. 4. The case and keycaps are CHEAP. The case looks like a piece of cheap plastic that does not belong on a decent mechanical keyboard, and will probably shatter if dropped. The keycaps are the same. Although the font is easy to read, and the shine-through is nice, it feels like youre typing on plastic wrap. I dont know if its the ABS material or not. But they kinda suck. So I had to swap those out. Otherwise, this is a decent keyboard and decent value

This keyboard is quite good. The build quality is on point and the switches feel good, even if they are nock-off Cherry MX. I own the Anne pro 2 as well as this RK61, (my anne pro has Gateron Red switches, and the RK61 has blues, so they are quite different). they are nearly identical to one another with the Anne pro 2 coming up just slightly ahead of the RK61 in terms of build quality. (to be expected, as the Anne pro 2 is double the price). If this is your first mechanical keyboard and you are trying to choose what type of switch to get, your first thought might be to get blues. they are tactile, clicky, basically everything you think of when you think about a mechanical keyboard, and how it should sound. BUT

Switch wired/bluetooth mode

Wired mode: Switch on the back of the keyboard needs to be OFF with cable connected;

Bluetooth mode: Switch ON with the cable disconnected

Bluetooth matching mode

Long-press FN + Q/W/E to activate Bluetooth pairing mode, Q/W/E will be flickering when the keyboard is able to be paired, backlit will stop flickering when the pairing is complete

Switch arrow key function

FN + Enter

Switch secondary 6 functional key

FN + Left Ctrl

Way to type a "?"

FN + Right SHIFT + /(?)

or press Left SHIFT + /(?) directly under arrow keys function disabled
