Rode PSA1

Works a treat with the RODE NT-USB mic I also bought at the same time, looks great and offers great flexibility in my podcast/recording setup. A must purchase for the semi-serious home recording artist

You shouldnt have to search deep within the Amazon Q&A section to figure out that this stand has no manual tension adjustment.

Kann man gut installieren und ist sehr stabil!

I wanted to mount my microphone above my monitors. The Rode PSA-1 holds my mike, a Shure AT2020 and pop filter in place without a problem. The main two concerns were would it hold the mike in place? How would it mount to the desk?

Easy to set up and man, but the thing is smooth and quiet. I looked at the Heil (about $20 more) and the BrainyTrade (about $30 less), but in both cases reviews said the desk mount clamp was weak. Not so with this puppy -- its a solid hunk of metal. The arm doesnt fasten to the desk clamp at all, it just slides in. This doesnt seem to be an issue, but it left me wondering if I was missing something after setting it up.

I rarely post reviews but feel compelled. Must have googled a dozen reviews of cheaper boom arms before plunging for this. It is total quality and the arm when placed stays in precisely the same position. You really do sense the quality and, for the few bucks you might save with a cheaper product, this is worth its weight in gold. If buy multiple units in a heartbeat.

Hab es mir mal gegönnt und muss sagen ich bin echt sehr begeistert ! Man kann das Mikrofon wirklich super hin und her bewegen. Das einzige was mich an dem Schwenkarm stört ist, dass die Bewegung nach oben ein nerviges kratzen Auslöst, aber da ich das Mikro meistens eh nur in zwei Positionen brauche ist das nicht all zu schlimm, kann nur für Zuhörer im Skype / TS nerven !

Non che ci sia molto da dire, il nome RODE la dice già lunga, è perfetto, installazione velocissima (meno di un paio di minuti) e stabilità e qualità senza pari.
