Perfect setup for an AT2020 with a separate shock mount.

Terrible grinding noises. Tried lubing and did not work. Bought the blue compass. Much better and quiet. Not sure how they could sell this and it be that bad.

Before I start, I should mention I was rocking a few of the cheaper options available on Amazon for a very long time. I had lots of them. I started off using some USB mics that didnt weigh a whole lot, then moved to some MXL Microphones, and the cheap stands worked. Some weird sounds here and there from the springs, and getting pinched every once and a while for mishandling the stands, but they worked for their price. Finally I upgraded to the Shure SM7B.

This mount is amazing, I wish there were more stronger budget options but this holds my blue yeti + radius shock mount. The description is a lie, I contacted support and the actual weight limit is 2.4 pounds and not 4. The Amazon page is misleading for those who have a heavy microphone like me the mount is sensitive and lowers easily.

Zum Glück kappt bei Amazon die Rücksendung eines Artikels so problemlos. Ich hatte zuerst ein anders Gelenkarmstativ bestellt, dass jedoch nicht meinen Wünschen entsprach. Jetzt benutze ich ein Blue Yeti X mit einem Rode Gelenkarmstativ und bin super glücklich.

Super versatile. Definitely worth the 100 bucks. You cant get anything better.

Exactly as advertised. Works great with my Blue Yeti microphone in any position not just on hanging upside down as I know others do. Easy to use clamp and swivels a full 360, not that I need that. My desk is a Husky 6 adjustable height workbench and the clamp fits great on the side, back and even the front with no problem. Feels substantial, not flimsy as others. Sure you can save money going with one of the others, but if youre using a Blue Yeti mic you wont be disappointed as those others will claim they can hold it but only in a down position.
