> 3 dayMy old rollinf backpack lost s wheel. Tried a large catalog case but it was too wide to fit down an airplane aisle. another one that claimed it could hold a 17,3 laptop was too small to hold mine. But the new 18 inch bag works perfectly. It also is a bit lighter so it is easier to get in the overhead compartments,

21-11-2024This is a good bag for the price, but also due to the price, it has some shortcomings: Pros: -Survived a trip to Asia, It was checked 3 times and so far it has withstood legacy and low-cost carriers -perfect size and decent wheels (for the price). -it can be used as a backpack, which is rare for the size/price point -The fabric looks like will last a few years - telescopic handle it the best thing on this bag, its sturdy and has great size, My wife 58 and me 62 were able to use it comfortably Cons: - around one pound heavier than advertised - There is some foam padding around the handle that does not add any extra features to the bag but takes packing space (we removed it) - Zippers are low quality but expected for the price of the bag (I think this is the main weak point of this bag) -the handle has a rubber top on the handle that helps with grip, however, this just sticks to your clothes and its annoying, I would recommend removing this feature and the foam inside the bag. For the price, this is a great bag, but dont expect anything fancy, this is a barebones bag, with all the basics, some pockets, decent materials and convertible to a backpack which is rare at this price point and size. for the $50 I paid, Im very happy with my purchase. yes, this is no Tumi or Samsonite, but you are also not spending that kind of cash

> 3 dayA rolling backpack was what I needed so I could pack my laptop as well as a few essential items. I have at least 2 carry on sized bags that will sit on top of my large suitcase. That is good except for things like train travel. For that, I needed something that could quickly be thrown on my back so I can grab the larger suitcase. The Matein definitely filled this need! My large laptop was put inside a sleeve and it sill went into the large, slim pocket of the Maetin. There should be no issue with laptop fitting as mine is almost 17 inches wide which is much larger than most. The straps secure into a pocket on back for when you want to roll. The wheels rolled perfectly smooth and the handle felt very secure and sturdy. There were plenty of smaller pockets as well. I had no issues with the rolling backpack and loved it. The larger pocket was roomy and I was able to get in my essentials, even an extra pair of shoes. For an overnight or two, you should be able to get what you need packed inside. For me, it is a carry on that supplements my checked bag on a week or longer trips. Even if you arent traveling by train, this is a much more useful bag than the normal carry on.

> 3 dayI bought this bag to take on a 10 day trip to Europe. I took what I needed for about half of the time because I was able to do laundry about halfway through my trip. I really wanted something I could wheel as much as possible, but still had the option to carry when walking long distances or getting on and off congested transport. I also wanted a bag that would “count” as a carry on for my flights with British Airways, Air France, and Whizzair. This bag fit the sizing restrictions for all 3 airlines and I had no trouble loading it into the overhead bins. The bag rolled very smoothly in the various airports and train stations I travelled through and the wheels are still in great shape after 10 rigorous days of travel to 5 different cities. It did take some trial and error to get the strap length just right so they did not hurt my shoulders as the padding did leave a little bit to be desired, but I found a comfortable set up eventually. I did not use any packing cubes and I was able to pack a swimsuit, 6 pairs of socks, 6 boxers, 6 t-shirts, 4 pairs of shorts, and 3 pairs of jeans (I am 6’6,” so some pretty big pairs of jeans) all in the main compartment along with my quart size toiletry bag. In the compartment on top of the main one I put a pair of flip flops, a quart sized bag with electronics in it, a deflated, inflatable neck pillow, my iPad and my puffer jacket folded up into quarters along with a 25l soft backpack I used for day trips. I did not put much in the two smaller compartments on the front to prevent the possibility of pick pocketing as I carried this bag on public transport in some very busy cities. In the bottom compartment on the front I did put my passport inside the zipper pocket inside the compartment so it was packed behind 2 layers and I put my $5 sunglasses in the top outer compartment when I didn’t want them in my pocket. Overall, the size and weight of this bag worked perfectly for me and the wheels worked great! The handle felt sturdy and was long enough for me to pull even though I am pretty tall. Despite all I had packed, the bag was not bulging and was still pretty easy to zip up. I will be using this bag for all of my trips going forward as it still looks brand new! I even saw other travelers with this bag during my trip!

Greater than one weekThis bag seems to be better built than a similar bag I had. Everything is done with high-quality components, and I was surprised it has a lifetime warranty. Well see. The dimensions were critical to fit 737 and A320 bins and this bag fits perfectly. Niceties include an internal strap and pockets for documents and computer.

> 3 dayWorks as advertised great capacity and ease of access. Holds a 17.4 laptop with ease, a full-sized keyboard, mouse, charger, clothes, and toiletries for at least a two-day trip. Straps can be tucked away for easy rolling.

> 3 dayWorks well, rolls well, good capacity seems durable (after 3 weeks) my only problem is the shoulder straps are very narrow and not very comfortable so if carrying a very heavy backpack starts to get painful. After using it for a while I mainly use it for rolling. I will only carry it on my shoulder for short while or for light loads

> 3 dayThe combo of backpack straps and roller luggage worked very well. The size is right for airline carryon luggagle. But the straps cut up underneath my arm. The connecting hook holds all of the weight and stress from wearing it, and I worry about that popping off or breaking.

Greater than one weekI tried to use this 17 for a personal item for frontier but unfortunately because of the wheel and handle combo it wouldnt fit in the tray they now force you to check before the flight. Would be fine for checked or carry on (paid bags) Great quality otherwise
