I purchased this rolling backpack for an upcoming international trip. I thought it was a great option for old city cobblestone streets, on and off trains, areas with a lot of steps, and just anywhere where you were unable to roll a suitcase. I’d rather carry on my back than by hand. I was a little concerned that the size wouldn’t work for a 9 day trip and even though I’ve not yet officially packed, I did test putting about 15 bulky sweaters in the main compartment and it zipped with no issue. Lots of additional spaces for my iPad, toiletries, and other extras including a water bottle holder. I tried out both the backpack and rolling options. The backpack straps are padded and comfortable. The wheels looks very solid as is the telescoping handle. Hasn’t been trip tested yet but so far, very pleased with my purchase.

Even though I am giving this high marks, I had to return it because it was too small for my needs. However, it is a very high quality backpack and Im sure it will work for you if you just use this for business purposes and do not intend to put a lot of stuff in it.

Last August, I purchased another backpack with wheels from Amazon. It lasted eight months, which I was fine with, since I used that backpack nearly every single workday, stuffing it full and rolling it across airports, hotels and airplanes all across the country. I was going to reorder the same item, until I noticed this Matein backpack with slightly higher ratings. So I ordered it instead. Happy to report that, yes, the Matein is designed better and has more features than the quality product I already have.

I needed a new bag for work as I travel to different buildings and need to bring a lot of files and binders with me. It is very roomy and works well so far. I will do a follow up review once I have more time using it on a day to day basis.

Works great for traveling and for taking computer and supplies between home and office. Works better than my prior computer suitcase on wheels.

I believe she will love this item. It seems durable and will give her what she needs for her traveling.

I’m giving only 4 stars because I just received the backpack a few days ago. I had ordered a cheaper one before but seemed very poorly constructed so I immediately returned it and ordered this one for double the price. It’s definitely sturdier and padded. Everything fits inside, feels comfortable on my back even on a 15-mile bike ride. Fingers crossed it lasts!

Original issue: Lousy strap buckle. Used by a ten year old and broke after less than 2 months. Lets assume it was the kids fault. We have tried repeatedly getting help buying a replacement strap and customer service wont respond. Maybe the rest of the backpack is in decent shape, but not very usable as a backpack this way. Stay way! Update: I struggled to give either a 3 or a 5 (from the original 2 rating). On the positive side, zhongkaidianzishangwu shipped the whole new backpack even though I only wanted the strap buckles. This seller did in fact step in as I bought from another Amazon seller. Which in itself is not fair to this seller just to keep me happy. So buy from zhongkai if you have doubts. The reason why I struggled with the rating is because Matein customer service ignored us repeatedly and if it took a bad review for some action I imagine some other folks might not have the same recourse as us. So bottom line is I have to give a 5 because it wouldnt be fair to zhongkaidianzishangwu as they are the current seller and they deserve fair assessment. Not vouching for other sellers.

I like the speedy delivery before a holiday and the product came in excellent condition. I know everyone was talking about covers for the wheels but I didnt see or receive any with this purchase. I made myself jealous of how good the backpack was since it was a gift for someone else. I might end up ordering another one just for me.
