> 3 dayGot as a gift since my wife and I have about 300 records, most of it oldies LPs and 45s that never made it to CD, so this seemed like a great idea. The software installed fine and I was able to capture audio from my turn table right away after I plugged in the provided capture/USB box and cables to my preamp. Its a bit weird because no sounds comes out of your computer speakers when recording, or the line out jack on the capture box. However on playback it only comes out of the line out on the capture box. The software is the PITS! Out of the 8 records Ive done so far it hasnt even been close to getting the info right, not even the artist. Ive not tried a newer record yet to see if that works. But the worst is that the software doesnt seem to have any recognition of when the tracks start and stop, so I have to go in and manually edit the recording my listing to it and inserting the track breaks.. NOT WORTH THE TIME! Since this item was sitting on my desk for about 6 months before I had time to sit down and play with it Ive been told I cant return it, so I guess Ill see if anyone on the net has some better software to run with this device. Otherwise its going in the trash.

> 3 dayProduct key that came with software does not work. Roxio technical support provided a new key, and that does not work either. Like pulling teeth to be able to use the product I paid for a month ago.

> 3 dayThis Product (Easy LP to MP3) is a complete scam and a total rip off. The key provided to install the software is not valid, so you cant even get to square one. Roxio support is non-existent. I E-mailed them, asking help with the invalid key that was provided with the software CD. No response. Stay as far away from this product as you can.

> 3 dayI find that if I have a choice, a Roxio product will out perform the competition. When it comes to conversion DVD/CD software I buy Roxio because they have consistently been a reliable in the past. This package I bought to transfer some old rehearsal tapes to Mp3s so I could play them on newer equipment; i.e. without a tape player. For the most part, it was able to distinguish breaks in my recordings with little editing. I am sure that it will work well on old store bought cassette tapes.

15-04-2025This is a good product that works as advertised. There has been several bad reviews but I think if you understand what the product is going to do it will be good experience. The product will take over (hijack) your sound card. It does this to make sound capturing as easy as possible and to allow you to capture gaming songs, but it means your speaker/headphones jack isnt going to work anymore. The hardware has a Line Out on the back but the signal is very hot for headphones, so you have to turn the volume way down. Thats the worst of it. If you can get past that, the product is full of good tools to help you turn your LPs, cassettes, or in my case, reel to reels into MP3s. My suggestion is to get all the LPs you want transferred done at once, then uninstall the product.

> 3 dayI found this program somewhat complicated on WIN XP; On WIN 7, it was impossible! I could record, but heard no playback - a bit frustrating! I tried many combinations, line into their adapter, line in mic, sound into adapter, sound into computer, nothing worked! I got the CD made, but must re-do - noise that I could have stopped had I been able to hear it during recording. I would NOT recommend this to anyone! Their support sucks - is almost non-existent. You cant respond to their email - no reply & their link doesnt work. There MUST be an easier program to use! This was $79. in Best Buy: its worth about 10% of that!
