> 3 daySpeed, value and reliability were the reasons I purchased this drive with the heat sink and I have been very happy with the performance of this SSD. I am not using it on a gaming PC but based on the specs and the fact its a Gen4 PCI SSD Im sure it will serve a gamer well.

> 3 dayIf your MB has a heat sink, use it. If not, get a heat sink. They should be more insistent on this, make it more visible or something. NVME (PCIe especially) run HOT. They sell their excellent heat sink separately if you dont purchase this with it already included. I was lucky and discovered this before I installed it, I purchased Sabrent heat sink and it is great! That was the only reason I didnt give it 5 stars.

> 3 dayI had tried using an ASUS enclosure to set up before putting the ssd inside. It didn’t show up and I was not able to copy my old windows to it because whatever I did it would not register. So I had to put it on my ssd slot and do a clean installation and put my old ssd in the ASUS slot and transfer things slowly. It was just a pain to do that and it took longer than it should have.

> 3 dayI purchases this originally to store a game library. It worked well for about a year but in august 2022 I started to have performance issues where it would slow down considerably. Worked with Sabrent support to rule out any software/pc issues and was approved for an RMA. Since September 2022, I’ve been waiting for a replacement without any details on an eta nor other options. It’s hard to make a recommendation given the lack of alternative options and ability to get a quick replacement. Disappointed in Sabrent and given how much was spent on a 4tb SSD, it’s hard to use them in the future.

> 3 dayLove this product! Loading screens on games are basically non-existent and the price is very competitive. Youre getting an amazing 4th gen nvme for the price of the 3rd gen samsung 970 evo plus (not saying 970 isnt a beast of its own). I also really liked their secure packing since I dont trust UPS to be gentle with my deliveries.

> 3 dayWanted a lot of space and figured I should take use of the Gen 4 compatibility of my x570 Motherboard. Attached is the performance of the 2TB version at about halfway full from a single test I did.
