This m2 is where it is it wish I bought another before price went up. Speedy and great storage.

I did some shopping around to check out different models and capacities as my 1 TB SSD that came with my system about a year ago was already filling up. I decided to go with this 4 TB to help ensure I would have plenty of space and not need to do another upgrade in another year. Very easy to install, Sabrent provides a cloning tool if you need it, though I chose to do my reinstall from scratch as I had noticed some performance issues. This arrived very quickly and couldnt have asked for better service. One thing I might recommend if you are doing what I did (replacing an SSD with a larger one with intent to reinstall from scratch) is to also purchase an SSD external enclosure. I got the Sabrent tool-free enclosure which also worked great. This was needed as I ended up realizing there were files I didnt get backed up and this just made it easy to retrieve them. The copy speeds to the new drive were fantastic (this is why I love SSDs).

So far so good. I actually bought two. Sabrent seems to be an up & coming brand on the m.2 landscape.

Advertised as 4.9GB/s Read and 3.5GB/s Write. This thing achieves almost 6GB/s read without cooling... just stop reading and add to cart.

The storage is great, and the qlc ssd, I mainly use it for games so preserve how much writing it does. For a M.2 NVMe drive, it really easy to install, even for a 3.1 USB enclosure, it’s plug and play as long as you bought a NVMe for a device that supports it. The value for the qlc drives are cheaper, due to how the storage configuration is. This drive is one I would recommend for games out of anything or anything that doesn’t excessively read or write in random. If it does, I would heavily advise getting a TLC drive. It’ll work better, due to its configuration.

I purchases this originally to store a game library. It worked well for about a year but in august 2022 I started to have performance issues where it would slow down considerably. Worked with Sabrent support to rule out any software/pc issues and was approved for an RMA. Since September 2022, I’ve been waiting for a replacement without any details on an eta nor other options. It’s hard to make a recommendation given the lack of alternative options and ability to get a quick replacement. Disappointed in Sabrent and given how much was spent on a 4tb SSD, it’s hard to use them in the future.

Very fast. Getting advertised speeds on PCI-E Gen 4. Software not bad either. Acronis worked great for cloning and is a great added value. I hope it lasts.

Slower speeds than my Corsair, did not live up to its reputation. Also slows down dramatically with with more than 3 chia plots building on it.

The access speed is quite fast, including cost effective.

Simply amazing. This drive is a example of how fast technology is advancing.
