These are the best cabinet locks I have seen. They are easy to install, can be adjusted so there is not any slop (no partially pulling open that could let little fingers get pinched) and for us as grandparents they can easily be disabled when not needed (who wants to deal with childproof stuff when the kids arent around). Locating the magnetic key to the correct position on the door is easy because it makes a nice click when you get to the right place. Wish we had them when our kids were little.

I installed the previous version (Tot Loks) at my old house. LOVED them. Went to buy more (for a new house) and saw these. I love these even more. Installation was MUCH, MUCH, MUCH easier. The locks seem to open easier (with the key). By this I mean that it seems that I dont need to be as precise with the key placement in order to get the doors to open. They are more plasticky than the Tot Loks, and I was concerned that they might break. But, that hasnt been a problem. Pros: Totally hidden locks. Easy to use. Can disengage (and re-engage) instantly and easily. Extremely safe. Very much improved installation (vs previous version) Cons: Have to be installed. Potential to damage cabinets during installation (if not careful). Im still firmly in the baby years, but I actually love these beyond babyproofing. I love being able to lock bathroom cabinets when guests are over (to avoid an busy-bodies rumaging through my stuff). If I didnt already have TONS of spare magnentic keys from my Tot Lok sets, Id recommend buying the smaller sets. That way you end up with more keys. More keys = better. Youre bound to misplace them (or lock them inside the cabinets) from time to time. Its nice to have a key in each bathroom and a few in the kitchen.

My kids were able to open every other type of lock (including the ones for refrigerators and toilets). The magnet locks are the only type they couldn’t get past without a magnet. Only downside - no magnets can be on the fridge LOL as my kids figured out other magnets work when they can’t find the magnet “key”. They’re 5 and almost 10 now and the locks are still working for us. Highly recommend!! Fingers crossed the cable magnet lock for the refrigerator works just as well as we still find the need to keep the kids out of the food in the cabinets and freezer (ice cream thieves LOL)

These are great cabinet locks! They are very nicely made and packaged. Read through the instructions several times to understand everything completely. In my opinion, very easy to install.. especially after the first one. Make sure to tape off 3/8 on your drill bit so you know when to stop drilling or else you will go through your cabinet door. I purchased 2 of these sets (each come with 4 locks and 1 key) so I ended up with 2 keys which is nice. If you purchase the larger pack which comes with 8 locks then you will only have 1 key per 8. Same price too. Cabinet doors dont have any give so their little fingers cant get between the cabinet door and cabinet. Get them!

Maybe these aren’t necessary when it comes to child proofing and you could opt for the cheaper ones, but let me tell you my primary reason why I love these the most.. my daughter doesn’t pull on the cabinets with these on them, repeatedly banging them ever-so-slightly open and shut like what she does with the cheapo cabinet locks that allow the cabinet to open a tad. That’s a sanity-saver right there. I also love that these can be disabled if need be. I stick the key on the frig when not in use.

If I had reviewed these right after buying them, Im sure Id have given them 5 stars. But a couple years later... man, what a pain these have been. First off, out of 12 we installed 3 have been replaced and 3 more need to be. THEY JUST DONT LAST! Something breaks in them, seemingly with no reason, rendering them completely useless. The company replaced the first two. The third time they said they would after receiving the defect back and - to their credit - they paid for the shipping... but I never heard from them again. To be honest, if I could go back in time... I just wouldnt bother. So heres some parenting device: Stop being so paranoid! You wont listen to me. I wouldnt have listened to me either. But I found its just far better to teach the kid to not do certain things, and move the really dangerous stuff so they just cant get it. Way better than annoying yourself and all your guests for years with these blasted things.

These things are great! Installed very easily (great template to drill holes for the screws) and very securely our cabinets from the kids. I have really yanked on them while locked to test them and they hold great with no play. The best Ive found yet. I bought 4 as a trial and will be buying more.

These are great! Keep the cabinets locked like they should. Like other reviews, they are difficult to install with the directions so I just put a piece of double sided tape on the back, lined them up on the cabinets so they would lock, made sure they worked before screwing them down. Worked a whole lot better than the weird templates that came with them. This set only comes with one key which will suck if I lose it. Otherwise I would never buy any other type of child locks for cabinets. Kids are just too smart & figure them out to quickly. Great price for the amount of locks you get but the shipping was kind of slow.

These are the absolute best! We took the ones we already had on our cabinets when we moved and bought new ones to make up the difference in our new house. The older ones have been used for 3 years now and work like new. We use them wherever there is a drawer or cabinet we dont want the kids to get in to including kitchen drawers and cabinets, bathroom drawers, and the media cabinet.

We bought these for our gun cabinet and even a grown adult cannot open the doors. On the longer door we had to use two locks because with enough force the bottom part of the door opens a bit but on the smaller doors there is no way it will open without the magnet. If its adult proof it sure will be toddler proof. PROS: Lock is hidden unable to try to pick it or open with just any magnet. CONS: Instructions on how to install.
