After reading reviews about many types of cabinet childproofing products, we decided to buy these. Theyre a bit more costly, but much more effective in keeping baby out of the cabinets than the cheaper ones. Our baby loves to open the kitchen cabinets and has started to pull out pans and glass dishes recently. I cant reorganize the cabinets to allow him some exploration and play space in the kitchen, so instead of constantly saying no, no, no I decided to make it a moot point by removing the temptation of opening and closing the cabinet doors. The morning after we installed these, he crawled over, pulled himself up, and tried to pull on the knob to open the door. He attempted a few times, but quickly got bored and crawled away. Effective! Installation was a little frustrating for the first one, but once we figured it out, the others were quick to install (maybe 4 minutes each, but the first one took us about 20 mins). Weve ordered more, to put on the rest of our kitchen cabinets and on the bathroom ones, too. Were pleased with this product, and were glad we didnt waste the time installing the cheaper plastic latches that most kiddos eventually learn how to use. Minus 1 star because only 1 magnetic key is included...what happens if we lose it, or lock it inside the cabinet? It would take a few days to buy another one...

They work really well. Just a little bit difficult to install due to the small size of the screws, but thats just because my hands are big. The instructions and the sticky placement guides make it much easier to install the locks than I thought it was going to be. Im going to be buying more of these soon!

I absolutely love these - except for the fact they are so hard to figure out how to install. It took me 40 minutes to install the first one. Though there are thorough instructions in every language, it is impossible to make out the photos. Once installed, I love them!!! They work great, are incredibly sturdy and you cant see anything! Now, if the manufacturer would just come to my house and install them, I would be completely thrilled! :)

These are great cabinet locks! They are very nicely made and packaged. Read through the instructions several times to understand everything completely. In my opinion, very easy to install.. especially after the first one. Make sure to tape off 3/8 on your drill bit so you know when to stop drilling or else you will go through your cabinet door. I purchased 2 of these sets (each come with 4 locks and 1 key) so I ended up with 2 keys which is nice. If you purchase the larger pack which comes with 8 locks then you will only have 1 key per 8. Same price too. Cabinet doors dont have any give so their little fingers cant get between the cabinet door and cabinet. Get them!

Ive installed numerous drawer locking gadgets, none of them satisfactory until I acquired this product which is vastly superior to any others Ive tried. I was somewhat concerned that their installation would be difficult, but in fact they installed easily and provide a secure, easily unlocked solution. Highly recommended.

The Kidco S3362 is easier to install, but doesnt work nearly as well, at least not on my cabinets. My only beef with this product is the install template they give is neither intuitive nor effective. If they could steal a page from the Kidco playbook on the installation they would have a home run.

I dont want to give this one star but.... I bought these and installed three of them, simple to do, and they work great, actually ordered more before I even finished this project because I liked how well they work. But, the last lock I went to install was broken and would not lock with out some great effort... something I was not willing to do. I tried everything I know possible to find a way to contact the manufacturer and tell them this one was broken and please send me a replacement. I was not about to uninstall three I had already installed! NOTHING... I have no way to contact the seller and try to get this fixed so, I have to give them 1 star for customer support and the fact that I am no out one lock that I needed to keep my kiddos safe. If they contact me after reading this I will gladly give them a great rating but right now, I have no other recourse!

These are so awesome! They are especially great for grandmas house because she can turn them off when my little one isnt there and her cabinets work like normal. All she has to do it turn them on when he comes over. No fighting with hooks all the time. I like it as well - if Im doing a bunch of cooking and there are no little ones around, I can just shut them off and get in and out of cabinets with ease.

Instructions were very helpful. Definitely don’t be in a rush when Installing them. Work very well. And we get to keep our kitchen looking not baby-proof, even while it is.

I installed the previous version (Tot Loks) at my old house. LOVED them. Went to buy more (for a new house) and saw these. I love these even more. Installation was MUCH, MUCH, MUCH easier. The locks seem to open easier (with the key). By this I mean that it seems that I dont need to be as precise with the key placement in order to get the doors to open. They are more plasticky than the Tot Loks, and I was concerned that they might break. But, that hasnt been a problem. Pros: Totally hidden locks. Easy to use. Can disengage (and re-engage) instantly and easily. Extremely safe. Very much improved installation (vs previous version) Cons: Have to be installed. Potential to damage cabinets during installation (if not careful). Im still firmly in the baby years, but I actually love these beyond babyproofing. I love being able to lock bathroom cabinets when guests are over (to avoid an busy-bodies rumaging through my stuff). If I didnt already have TONS of spare magnentic keys from my Tot Lok sets, Id recommend buying the smaller sets. That way you end up with more keys. More keys = better. Youre bound to misplace them (or lock them inside the cabinets) from time to time. Its nice to have a key in each bathroom and a few in the kitchen.
