I bought a set of these with low expectations to keep the cat from getting into the laundry room where he gets stuck behind the dryer. They fit and install easily with no tools and operation is great for day to day use. I have since ordered 3 more sets for the rest of the doors in the house.

This is the best thing for bi-fold closets! My 2yr old son was CONSTANTLY going in his closet at nap time and taking everything out or he’d pinch his fingers. This solves both issues!!! It even comes with a little attachment piece if your doors are smaller you can put it on and have it work the same as standard doors!

I wish I had known these existed way before now!!! My toddler has figured out every single lock we have in the house. She would go into her room and change clothes constantly. I put these locks on her closet folding doors and she cant open them anymore. I dont have to deal with her constantly changing clothes, picking up clothes all over the house, and the unnecessary big piles of laundry anymore!!!

I bought this for my daughter who has two very busy toddlers. Shes using them to secure the bi-fold doors in front of her washer and dryer. Easy to use, sturdy, and the kids can no longer get into the closet and turn off the washer in the middle of the cycle. So far so good theyre doing the job we needed them to do.

These have given me the piece of mind to rela. When my son is in his room. We are unable to secure his dresser to his wall so we opted to put it in his closet though I still worried he would tip it over if he opened the closet. These prevent him from opening his closet on his own.

These are wonderful, and will keep my grandson from squishing his fingers in the doors. He loves to open and close doors and now I don’t have to worry about these. They are easy to use, and just slide out of the way when I don’t need them.

My folding closet doors go all the way from floor to ceiling, and even with the extender my 52 self comes no where near being able to reach. They do exactly what they are supposed to do otherwise, but Im now having to go the store and diy an extender for the extenders.

My cat kept opening the linen closet and the closet housing the AC unit. I found and ordered this item. When I received and opened the package, the setup was simple. All I had to do was slide the wand into the socket on the plastic bar. I opened each folding door a bit, and put the plastic bar on top to one side. I then closed the door and used the wand to slide the plastic bar to the middle of the door. The door cannot be opened with the plastic bar in this position. I tested it, so did the cat. The cat was not happy. I was delighted.

Finding a lock for bi-fold doors is all but impossible. I found this and decided to give it a try. While this is not exactly a lock, it does the job of holding the doors closed. The installation is simple...just open the door a bit and drop it over the top of one of the doors. (There is no drilling or tools necessary.) To close the door, use the drop-down handle to slide it to the center. This will keep the doors from opening. When you want to pass through, just slide it over either door and the door can then operate as usual. We use it to keep a pet out of certain areas of the house. It is made of clear acrylic plastic and does not stand out. The only thing I found was there is only a handle on one side. So, to lock/unlock from the other side you must reach up and slide the actual lock back and forth. This is not really a problem, however it could be improved by putting a dropdown handle on both sides of the unit. They come two to a package so I just installed the second one with the handle on the other side. Mine slides easy and is not inconvenient.
