Since Samsung produces most of the components they use for their SSDs the reliability Ive gotten from these drives have yet to be beaten. Its a little bit more expensive sure but its worth the money. I have 3 of these drives and constant use at this point from 850 Evo to 860 Evo and now the 870 Evo. These drive will not let you down no matter what.

Been running this for over a year now. Cloned the old platter drive to this one using Samsung software. Transfer was perfect with no issues. All the expected speed increases were there and no bugs showed up. After a year of use its lost a little bit of its zip. Not clear if its the drive just getting messy or its something else. Still a good product and I would buy it again

Great SSD for Internal Computer Use

Works well. I ordered incorrectly because I thought my laptop took a 2.5 drive (it doesnt - it take a M.2 format) but the drive works well so I am keeping it for backup purposes.

Replaced another SSD 2.5 drive with this one in a Dell laptop. I had already installed a Samsung 2TB M2 boot drive in the laptop and the Samsung SSD works well with it and the free magician software keeps an eye on both drives.

I replaced some slower 5400 WD red hard drives with these in an OWC Thunderbay 4 Raid 0 Enclosure. They are fast! About 5X faster than my old drives in same enclosure!
