SAMSUNG 870 EVO SATA III SSD 1TB 2.5” Internal Solid State Drive, Upgrade PC or Laptop Memory and Storage for IT Pros, Creators, Everyday Users, MZ-77E1T0B/AM

Solid state drives work best when there is plenty of free space, so when my 500 GB drive was about 75% full I replaced it with this one. Its working great on my ThinkPad T-530.

As the title says this is my 9th Samsung SSD/NVME and I have yet to have any complaints about these drives. I have purchased 500gb to 2tb sizes from 850 EVO to 970 EVO models and will always vouch for their reliability and speed. This 870 EVO went into my new build (along with another identical SSD purchased from a certain Egg company that took twice as long as Amazon to arrive) and the speeds are a nice improvement over the 860s I have in my other computer, though for most everyday tasks the difference is negligible. Drives still look the same as the previous generations but that is a plus in my book since they are very pleasing to the eye. Another satisfied purchase.
