> 24 hourPerfect for upgrading my mothers 6 year old Dell laptop. She had a 5400 rpm HDD that took the computer allot of time to boot up. I swapped the old HDD with this new SSD. The only thing that I was disappointed with is that Samsungs own cloning app did not clone the HDD over to SSD,so I used AOMEI to clone the old drive and had her computer up and running. It boots up nice and fast and executes applications as good as a new laptop.

> 24 hourI ordered the SSD on 4/26/2022 from Amazon. It was delivered on 4/30/2022. I immediately determined that it was defective, and arranged for a RMA with Samsung. DO NOT RETURN THE SSD TO SAMSUNG! Instead, return it to Amazon, who said the defective SSD would be replaced. UPS delivered the SSD back to Samsung on 5/9/2022. After a day, I was advised by Customer Service that the unit could not be repaired, and a replacement would be returned. To date, I have no written indication that the SSD was defective. Samsung provided a tracking number, which became unrecognized on the Samsung web site one day after Samsung received the SSD. However, on 5/13/2022, I received one final email stating a replacement would be provided under a new tracking number. Unfortunately, Customer Service indicated they have no stock of the SSD, so it had to be located and shipped from elsewhere. In my case, it came from Ontario, CA, and arrived on 5/24/2022. To this day, the Samsung web site status only says, Your exchange unit has been shipped out. No shipping date. No tracking ID. No evidence of delivery. Customer Service is also clueless. I called them daily to get updates, since the two tracking IDs were useless. I also tried unsuccessfully to use their Email the CEOs Office web site, which is accessible from the Contact Us link. All I received for that effort was a pop-up message, Page unauthenticated calls. The level of Samsung incompetence is impressive.

> 24 hourI have one of these for my gaming PC and bought a second one for my old 2012 MacBook when the original hardrive died. Both work amazingly with Windows and Mac OSX respectively.

> 24 hourThis is the second SSD from Samsung. 1st one would not transfer data using Samsung software per the instructions. After failing to migrate 3 times, each taking 5 hours, and having no luck with Samsung tech support, I thought Id try another one in case this one was just bad. Nope. Same results for both SSD. Ill try a different manufacturer.

> 24 hourI own two different models a 500GB and a 1TB and they have been running strong even after a few years of use. I am glad that the reliability of these have improved significantly. I recall seeing these dying left, right, and center on social media when they (Samsung SSDs generally speaking) first came out. Thankfully, that is something that you do not need to worry about anymore.

> 24 hourScreenshot is the results of the Default profile tests. Cant really ask for more from a non-NVMe SSD. Price could be lower, though.

> 24 hourI bought these drives to upgrade two older Windows 7 laptops. My biggest interest was improving the boot time and that went from 1 min 20 sec to 12 seconds. That was well worth the investment for me.
