Product as advertised. At least in my case no failure nearly 2 years after buying. You cant know end of life durability data for 7-10 years but Samsung overall has a pretty good reputation and has drive failure rates in line with the rest of the industry.

Practically plug-and-play for replacing my ancient HDD for this faster SSD in my PS4 Pro. You have to download the firmware off of the Playstation site via USB to initiate the new drive, but its very simple and straightforward. The slimmer drive means you have to screw it into the drive tray at a slight elevation but its cake once youve got the first screw set.

Converted my HP Pavilion Dv7... Had a little trouble cloning w/Macrium and exhausted all the recommended fixes. I ultimately paid $45.00 for the pro version of AOMEI Backupper and was able to perform a clone using their System Clone feature and then piece out cloning of the remaining partitions. Worked like a charm and now my 10 y.o. laptop is running like new and without the annoying HDD noises.
