I use this 1 TB SSD to clone the same capacity SSD installed in my laptop. If the installed drive fails, then it can be easily replaced with another SSD at the same speed and capacity. And take it from me, drives with hard disks do fail! SSDs last a lot longer, but they can also fail. I run my cloning program on a regular basis, just in case...

I have a 4 year old HP Pavilion 15-cc Laptop. I carry my laptop everywhere around campus but I was always careful when moving it because I had a Hard Drive. After 4 years the hard drive was constantly at 100% usage and it made my laptop slow which is why I bought this. I bought this SSD and I used a 15 min YouTube video to install it. It was very easy to install and it improved my laptop a lot. My laptop is now faster when booting up and when opening apps. I can now carry the laptop in my bag with more confidence that I wont mess up the storage. I really do recommend replacing your hard drive with this SSD. Before you do just backup you files to Google Drive and make sure to make a recovery drive.

Cuenta con muy buena velocidad y no produce ruidos. No me ha dado problemas de calentamiento y lo pude instalar sin problemas.

Not ideal for playing games or transferring large files to. Slows to a crawl after the tiny cache is full.

Data transmission speeds are above exceptional, satisfied with the purchase should have done this sooner.

Never had much to do with ssds. Needed to replace my main drive so i ordered this since they are so popular and i had an ssd there already. Had a little trouble cloning it and the samsung tools were useless on my system so i used Acronis. After two tries of cloning it started working. It was a little sluggish at first. But after a day or so it started working just fine so i am good.

Installation all depends on your build will be different for everyone. But the speed this thing runs at is insane. During installation of games I have seen this spike to 25Gbps. Phenomenal piece of hardware 10/10 would buy again

This SSD was easy to install on an HP All-in-One computer. It is working well but seems to have a response lag as the day wears on. It may very well be the amount of things I keep open and interference caused by a backup drive. As a result I cannot say for sure the problem is with the drive. In general startup is much quicker and general response time is very good. I was tempted to buy an SSD that was considerably less expensive but opted for the perceived quality of Samsung SSDs. If I have to buy another SSD I might try the less expensive one to see if it develops the same slowdown as the Samsung. Again, it is probably a user problem.
