I did simple CLONE using Samsungs Data Migration. XPS13 9370, Win10. Stock SSD was 128GB LiteOn. It took bit over 20 minutes to clone it to this EVO 970 PLUS 1T SSD.

Easy to install. Cloned my old drive directly to the new one using Macrium Reflect. Plugged it in and everything worked flawlessly. The read write speeds are top notch.

I upgraded a Dell XPS 15 from 512GB to 1TB. It took me 3 tries to copy my existing system to the new drive. The problems were entirely my own lack of familiarity with UEFI and GPT (GUID partition table) to make the new drive bootable. If you are upgrading I suggest having a USB enclosure so you can have both the old and new drivers connected simultaneously. Dont forget a cooling pad. I used Micro Connectors Micro Connectors M.2 SSD Thermal Cooling Pad (NGFFM2-TP2280).
