Greater than one weekThe Samsung software is too touchy to use.... It says it will only clone from Samsung to Samsung, and everything I did following their instructions to the T said that was true. I was updating an HP ENVY X360 PC with a Toshiba NVMe 512GB SSD in it. I used the EaseUS Partition Master that I used 5 years ago, but updated, and it worked like a champ. You must install this drive before installing the Samsung driver. The installation of the driver will fail, and the Data migration will not work if you attempt to use an NVMe adapter on the USB port. Strange, as there is no other way to clone the internal NVMe drive to another drive.....only one location to put the system NVMe drive. Installing the driver after completing the cloning of the drive worked fine.

> 3 dayI bought this 970 evo since it has a good reputation and read/write speed. I really enjoy using this for building computers for people as well. Just a fyi to anyone buying this. If you wish to have only a M.2 for storage look into a 2TB. Games/media are taking a great deal of space. So just a small fair warning.

> 3 dayWhat a clown show! Kernel panic reboots abound! Samsung claims they have a firmware update for it, but you need to copy it to a USB drive on a WINDOWS machine or some third party freeware, then you have to menu boot your mac and select the usb to update, rub your head in one direction and your bell in the other etc..., well, THAT DOESNT WORK EITHER! shame on samsung, ill never buy their crap again after going through this ridiculous nightmare.
