Install can be a nightmare just because Samsung did not include the screw and standoff you need! So you have to search high and low for the very specific small screw and standoff that you need (usually included with your motherboard). Its not ready to go out of the box.

Bought this to replace my SATA SSD. It was easier than I expected, but it didnt quite perform as well as I had expected. It wasnt bad by any means, but I was expecting Windows to load a lot more instantaneously. When you are talking about the difference between 2.5 and 3.5 seconds, I guess I dont really have a lot of grounds to complain about, though. HA HA!

It does what it is advertised. I don’t have to worried about storage issues for a good couple of years and it’s quick. For the price of $299. This a fair deal for a 2Tb storage.

I play a lot of games, and this makes everything load faster and smoother. I can transfer files in a flash using this. definitely recommend this product.

Samsung makes great ssds. This is my second m.2 ssd I have purchased. I used the first one as a boot drive in my dell xps 8900 and its smoking fast and boots in seconds. This one will be used as a boot and storage drive in my new gaming pc. Get one and prepare to be amazed.

I recently purchased this solid state drive for my 2021 Dell laptop 5510, wasnt compatible with Windows 11, thus, I had to return it, not because it was defective, just wasnt software or Bios updated to make it work in Windows 11. Ive always relied on Samsung SSDs before, but this one wasnt the latest version for my device. So, just a reminder to anyone purchasing hardware for your Windows 11 Desktops, Laptops &etc, just make sure its compatible. Had to step up to the Crucial SSD brand, works great & fast!

I remember when I bought my motherboard 5 years ago (Gigabyte H170 Gaming 3), I found out about M.2 slots and speed but there werent any option available. Fast forward, Im in the market to buy SSDs and I find this while looking (970 EVO Plus 1TB).
