I recently ordered this to upgrade my Acer aspire 7 17.3 gaming pc. I recommend getting this if you are looking to clone your operating system to ssd to improve laptop or pc speed. The difference in boot times and shut down times are amazing! I thought I was done with windows because of how they absolutely make laptops inoperable, but with this new technology, windows is actually a pleasure to use now! The response time is infinitely better when loaded on ssd!

Did not work for me. Cannot be positive or negative, as it coyld be motherboard issue too.

Threw this puppy on my asus pcie card thing with my other m.2 drives. Works great. Just wished it included a screw. So it’s kinda just vibing without one. Very very fast storage. Hard drives can’t compete.

If your motherboard is as unfortunate as mine it didnt have the screw needed for the drive to say secure so I had to buy the screw after I received the storage

Just rebuilt my 10 year old desktop. AMD 3700X, ASUS TUF X570 with 32 GB Crucial and Samsung EVO PLUS 1TB. Its a rocket ship.

I purchased two of the Samsung 970 EVO Plus m.2 solid state drives for my Synology DS720+. My primary purpose wasnt to necessarily speed up the I/O, but hopefully quiet down the chatter from the two hard drives as the NAS sits right behind me on a shelf while Im working.
