> 3 dayStorage capacity is amazing. I have three of these. One in my primary gaming computer. One in my 2014 MacBook Pro using an NGFF adapter. And one in an external enclosure that I used for storing my Steam, Origin, etc games. I move that between my computers depending on which one I’m using for gaming at the time.

> 3 daySamsung SSDs are the best. I always use them because they have great resiliency with great read/write speeds. They say you get what you pay for, and that is certainly true with these 970 Evo Pluss.

Greater than one weekInstalled this in my 2020 Razer Blade 15 advanced with i7-10875H and NVIDIA RTX-2070 Max Q. The SSD is really fast and it’s even faster than the SSD that came in the laptop. Boots up in 12 seconds to windows login screen. It runs about 2° C hotter than the stock SSD (60°C) but doesn’t slow down at all. I spent almost 5 hours trying to clone it with Macrium reflect 7 and could not get it to work. Ended up using the Samsung migration software and it cloned in 15 minutes and then didn’t even require a change in the BIOS after being installed in the motherboard to boot up. If you buy this SSD make sure to use the Samsung migration software!!!

> 3 dayThe Samsung (EVO) is a stable SSD brand for me! Consistently one of the best performance models (in 2.5 & M.2 form factors), always at a competitive price. This one does not disappoint as well in my very high-end laptop.

> 3 dayAfter previously ordering a few so-so and bad apples.... (Samsung 980 Series - 1TB, WD Blue SN550 500GB respectively) finally settled on this one (Samsung 970 EVO Plus 1TB). Even though the 980 is newer, it lacks in performance. For the $149 tag price, 970 was the clear winner.
