    I installed this on an old z68 mobo, had to use a pci-e adapter on a pci-e 2.0 slot and was thus limited to lower speeds. I also put a heatsink on it just in case. My PC did have some weird start up issues at the beginning; itd start up, then power down, and then start up again to go into Windows. It only did this once or twice, and never again after.

    was changing from a SP drive to this one and this is my first samsung evo drive. mostly have it as a OS boot drive and after a week i have no problems. might be buying more soon.

    Using in a with a Rivo PCI- E adapter card to boot Win 10 on a Gigabyte GA-Z97X-ud5h MB . Samsung = highest quality .

    All I can say about these things is dang! Theyre fast! Passed all my burn in checks and in my server as read write cache. Pushing 3000mbs to switch on read now through 10GB port.

    Disappointed that sequential write speed is not as fast as advertised (Install in a brand new ASUS B550-PLUS motherboard). Thought I bought 970 EVO PLUS, not 970 EVO.
