> 3 daySo far so good. Got 2 TB at a good price, its the main drive in my new PC and its getting great throughput. Came preloaded with latest firmware according to Samsung Magician, so thats good for people who dont want to deal with that sort of thing.

> 3 dayJust as previous generation nvme drives, these perform as anticipated. No complaints, Samsung quality is always high. I also see improvements in gaming performance compared to the factory drive in my laptop.

> 3 daySuper shock on the amount of storage it offer. Alot of SSD state their a certain capacity and they do have that storage but normally the SSD has certain things within it that drop the capacity but a very little bit but this offers a complete 1TB.

> 3 dayI bought a heatsink separately, and this thing is fast, my friend bought a WD Black, and the read/write speeds on this one smoke his. Happy I went with the Samsung all in all, it’s the most storage at the fastest read/write speeds for the money.

> 3 dayI use this as extra storage for PS5, simple installation as well as built to act as a heat sink. Works great!

> 3 dayDo yourself a favor and download the Samsung Magician software first thing and ensure the firmware is up to date before using it. I lost quite a few large files due to unreadable sectors and CRC errors. I ran a full diagnostic scan in Magician and it identified many bad LBAs, took upwards of 10-11 hours to finish when it should only take 3-4. So I updated the firmware and then low level erased every mapped address space block using gparted live, then reinstalled Windows and files from backup. Kind of disappointing given the price paid when I bought it, but hopefully the latest firmware will be more reliable. After all that, at least Magician doesnt show any bad LBAs anymore for the time being.
