I was amazed at how easy the installation was and using the Samsung cloning software to copy over my C: drive was a piece of cake. The software found the Samsung 980 SSD immediately and let me select the source (my C: drive) and it did the rest.

Super fast Speeds for game loading times and plenty of space for storage. Only issue was it didnt come with a screw to fix it in place on the motherboard.

Buena opción para actualizar laptop

It works perfectly well. I ran some tests and I am getting the advertised speed, I mean not all the time but I am getting close most of the time. So, yeah its a pretty great purchase. Definitely recommend.

Lo compré para actualizar el ssd de mi macbook air de 128 gb que viene por defecto. Ahora tengo 1 tb de almacenamiento y sistema operativo Big Sur instalado.

Cloned an existing OS sata ssd. This is 2 times slower in sequential reads and writes. It is only faster in random reads/writes. Effectively, windows startup time is 4 seconds longer now. Disappointed in terms of expected performance. Other than than, easy to install providing that you have an m2 screw handy.
