> 3 dayWe wanted a picture frame but they are all over 100 bucks. So I bought this on warehouse deals for around the same price. Make a goodle drive folder with images and get an app from the store to make it into a photo frame. Wala. And you get a tablet to play with too. Made more sense. Nice and thin and well made.

> 3 dayI was looking at the iPad mini but could not afford one. This tablet does everything I wanted and is extremely affordable compared to other brands and models. It loaded all my apps from my other tablets recent backup, can play 4K video footage from my NAS files, and has a pretty crisp bright screen. I tested 4K video playback with clips around 1-5 GB in size. Plays and scrubbs perfectly using Solid Explorer as the file browser and MX Player as the video player. I use this tablet as a addition to my workstation setup which is a M1 Mac mini with 2 displays. Instead of adding a third display to my setup which would have required an external video card device I decided to just get a tablet. I use this tablet for mostly watching NAS videos and for monitoring the main stream news using my Hulu subscription. It works so good I might get a second tablet to have 2 TV channels going at the same time to replace my existing Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8-inch. The difference between 8 inch and 10 inch really isnt that bad it doesnt take up that much more desk space just a few more inches of desk space and you got a larger screen. I also plan on using this for traveling if needed. I can say the Tab A8 is really neat and a good product. It only took about a hour to setup and download the apps and get me signed into everything with my passwords. Installing a SD card was super easy.

> 3 dayI have had a Lenovo tablet for quite a few years. It was time for a new tablet so I thought I would go for the Samsung Galaxy. The screen quality was GREAT. The tablet is sleek and lovely. I didnt like the on/off button being on the side, my Lenovo had it on the top which was much more accessible. The battery seemed to go quite quickly. I had to recharge half way thru the day. My Lenovo stayed charged much much longer than this Samsung Galaxy. I had to return this one because the keyboard must have been corrupt. Every time I used it, it would freeze up. It was really a pain. I tried several things to fix it, googled and tried a bunch of things. Nothing worked, so I returned it and ordered a different Samsung tablet, hoping it will be better.

> 3 dayI mostly purchased this to read ebooks. I was disappointed I couldnt use a stylus with it. I upgraded a writing software app on it from Google. I can always download to any future tablet.

> 3 dayOpens very slowly; downloads very slowly; responds very slowly. Not nearly the Samsung Tab A I have used for the last six plus years.

> 3 dayNormally I would go with one of the higher end Samsung tablets but decided to try this for the price. I am surprised the performance is subpar. After the firmware update, I believe it has the latest Android OS. Battery life is excellent, as with most new devices so that is a plus. If you are willing to deal with the poor performance, this is much less pricey than the top end models.
