    I was a little concerned about the reviews saying that this drive overheats, but I went ahead and decided to try it out. I bought it for my PS5 to store my PS4 games on and so far it has been a great drive! Ive played off of it for several hours at a time over the last couple of days and its has not overheated or given me any problems at all. It does get warm after awhile, but so has every external drive Ive ever used. I dont know how well it works with PCs, but I you need extra storage for a gaming console, this is a pretty good buy.

    I noticed after awhile using it. When I transfer a large amount of data, surely it gets hot but the data transfer rate drop dramatically.

    What a disappointment. These SSDs are supposed to be some of the best. Took a chance on buying this. Speed was slower than I felt it should have been, and then the whole drive corrupted 9 months after I started using it. Ive had drives from other companies that are 10+ years old and STILL work. Had to go buy another drive just to be able to keep working. Save yourself some serious money and stress and avoid this product.

    Ive got 4 now with this one. I do a whole disk backup every Saturday, and just rotate right through em.
