    So the product is good. However the app that you are supposed to use to connect to the drive doesn’t work for me on both my iPhone 13 pro and my android phone. I tested if the issue was on my end by making sure everything was up to date. But alas no luck. It doesn’t bother me too much, because I just connect the drive to my computer and transfer from my phone to my computer then to the drive. Speed of file transfer is good. Too bad Samsung app is trash.

    It was easy to install. I just plugged it into a USB-C port on my laptop and ran the install software. It is now my D drive. I have installed and Steam and GOG games to the drive. They seem to be running find. I have only had it for a couple of weeks, but so far, I am thrilled with it. This tripled the storage capacity of my laptop. (0.5TB to 1.5TB)

    I purchased this during one of Amazons Black Friday sales ~$249. This thing is great for my backward compatible games for my Series X. Absolutely recommend.

    Very cool size, and looks great in red or blue. I am able to copy large movie files at up to 600MB/second, sometimes a little more. Very happy with that. My internal hard drive cant even read as fast as this thing can write, so i had to copy-test with the internal SSD instead. I considered the X5 thunderbolt drive but in reality thats too much speed most folks will never need or even have the equipment to achieve.

    Ive used 2 Samsung T5s and they were great. So why not go up to a T7. This thing had trouble being detected by my PC to even download any of the footage, it overheats constantly stopping me from filming things after 10 minutes, the videos arent detected when the SSD is detected, and when I finally get them uploaded they have red and black bars all over them despite I have the correct Blackmagic plugin. I never had these issues with the T5.
