This SSD is a perfect back-up drive for my MacBook Pro. Very fast, but It does get a little warm ….. which doesn’t bother me. I recommend it. :)

This is a Great External SSD. Simple installation and easy to record and view. Quality appears to be evident, too.

I use USB SSDs to make clones of my C drive, using Casper; more than once theyve saved my bacon. I have other Samsung SSDs that are older technology; this one is noticeably faster.

Not heavy at all.Really light weight and small can fit in your pocket, purse, pencil case. A little bigger than a credit card(L-W). I’m not using it for gaming so I can’t say but I’m saving lot of files and it’s good for.

I bought it less than a year ago and it cant connect to my PC. I need support and it says to contact Samsung directly. After 5 HOURS of chat and calls, Samsung Canada tells me that the model bought on Amazon.CA is a US model and I have to deal with Samsung USA.

Nice size storage space and fast for backing stuff up

Slower than advertised speed. Cannot reach much above 800 MB/s on a Thunderbolt 3 connection . A far cry from the 1050 MB/s advertised speed.

It’s difficult to review a 2TB drive when the manufacturer puts a 500GB drive in the box. I do know that before I noticed the problem and was using the drive, it was both surprisingly slow and quickly grew uncomfortably warm. It’s going back, and I’m going with a different manufacturer.

It doesnt work. I spent hours and days YouTubing, downloading the Samsung ssdt7 app and it keeps saying its disconnected when its not! Frustrating! The YouTube makes it look so easy but I believe its a defect. I should have the reviews on samsung where many had the same problems.
