Its easy to use and easily encrypted just dont lose your password because even support wont be able to help you there. I bought this(2 TB) new about a year ago and havent had any issues. A lot of the review for used ones seemed like nightmare situations but the one I received is still going strong and is loaded with just over a terabyte.

Great product, just not completely sure why it’s so expensive, even compared to other solid state drives...

The drive worked perfectly with Catalina. I upgraded to Big Sur and the problems started. It constantly disconnects and then wont reconnect. If you search the net, you find many others with similar problems. My problems got worse after the latest Big Sur update.

Save your money, it is fake.

This T5 starts out on near full speeds up around 400MB/s, but then dips down to the 50MB/s a few seconds later. I have read that other people seem to experience this as well. Any suggestions or should I just refund it.

This little SSD is amazing. I got the 1TB model for about $130 and its so worth it. The little guy is bloody fast and efficient. I use the drive currently to run Windows via Mac Bootcamp and it works very well! I havent run benchmarks but it seems almost as fast as the SSD built into my 2019 macbook pro. Very impressed. Very happy to have the storage.
