> 24 hourI bought this as a means of moving my Lightroom photo library between machines. Problem is that large copies and backups overheats it and then the read/write errors start occurring. Also, long sustained file transfers seem to really bog down which agrees with the other reports of poor performance. This is really unacceptable. Considering I bought a 2TB unit, being unable to trust it for backups and large file transfers renders this pos nearly worthless. This product has certainly taken my opinion of Samsung products down a several notches.

> 24 hourWorks perfect for macOS and is better than buying a separate enclosure with an SSD.

> 24 hourGreat packaging, arrived safe and sound. Drive is fast, looks sleek, came with all the cables you need to connect it to anything, smaller than expected (half the size of a cell phone, very light).

> 24 hourI havent had a problem with it, the price is OK, and based on the reputation of Samsung Magician software for prolonging reliability, all in all 4 stars. But I wish Id bought a T7 instead of a T5. The T5 is less costly but has slower read/write speeds than T7. The T5 is also smaller and lighter than T7, but not by much.
