I have purchased Samsung drives before and they have always performed admirably. This one was no exception. I plugged in the usb cord and it was recognized by Windows immediately. Two thumbs up!!!

I use it on my BMPCC 4K and it works great. The write speeds allow me to use the lowest compression and highest resolution that the camera provides and its less expensive than buying internal cards.

I got the Samsung T5 SSD 2TB for my Mac Pro tower. At first it was fine. They, every few days it would randomly start disconnecting or ejecting while copying files. The problem is that it would not mount after that. This required reformatting the drive each time. Disk Utility along with Disk Warrior both report hardware failure issues. But those warnings to away once the drive is reformatted (extended, journaled) again. Then, a few days later, it would eject while copying and not mount again - thus requiring another reformat and erasing everything on the drive. Im using Mavericks (not High Sierra). I reformat and she works again... until the next time...

So far I love it! It was so easy to format on my PS4.

Type C to USB cable provided is not working, have to use my own cable. Disappointed that the transfer speed for my vacation pic /video only 30-40mbps (as pic attached here), not as fast as advertise nor as mentioned in some reviews. But glad that its not burning hot compare to other storage device during usage and it arrived before scheduled date.

Does this even need a review? Best ssd out there
