fast transfer speed ! very small and portable . only thing im pretty you HAVE to use the samsung software ( mac ) to mount the drive. love this drive. reminds me a lot of an ipod nano.

Fast lightweight small what more could you ask for.

I cant wait to see how long this drive lasts. It backed up a 1.3 TB drive in about a day and a half (from scratch) and now keeps incremental backups. I plan to buy more just like this one.

About 6 months back I purchased this for my dad so that he could store his created YouTube videos. He says it works great for that purpose. I have another need and want to be 100% sure and confident it will be able to do the job before I purchase it for myself.

I love my drive! I’ve had it over a year and it’s never disappointed! I use this drive to work off of but I store all my work on spinning disk as back up.

I’m a software engineer, and I live by the words “you can’t have too many backups”. The T5 is a great little SSD, and it’s pretty fast. I mostly work in VM’s, so at the end of the day I make several copies of the VM file. My 50 GB VM copies to a T5 in just under 2 minutes.

Use it on your phone, your tablet, your PC. Physically smaller, but digitally bigger than HDD of the same size. As in, 500GB of SSD storage will fit more than HDD will. I had a flash memory drive of the same capacity--my data used about 75% of it. But when I transferred it all to the new SSD, the same stuff only used about 50%.
