Works great with my Mac M1. Fat drive, I don’t notice any lag when opening graphic files.

Had to get this drive because I upgraded my phone from a note 9 to a S21 ultra. And, has done away with using the SD card for these phones. They really want you to purchase and online storage like cloud or Dropbox. But once you spend all this money on a phone you dont want to buy a monthly service. So I found this drive to just take my pictures off my phone and can find it if you put them in folders for each month or week if you take many photos and dont to pay for storage that when u try to get your photos you cant get them or find them. And, so you dont fill your memory up on the new phone slowing it down.

The size is incredibly small and thin. I dont have USB 3.2, but it seems fast enough for me. I havent experienced any heat issues.

I bought it as a SSD for my dash cam in a Tesla Model 3. At least 4 times a week, i get an error message on my cars screen. I have to unplug the SSD from the car USB several times until I no longer get a error message. Disappointed.

Bought this hard drive cuz it was realtively cheap and compact, and I totally regret it. This hard drive has not only crashed on me MULTIPLE times, but at the MOST crucial. I hate this hard drive so much. It constantly loses files, and then randomly disconnects. No bumps or touches. Ill go to click it, and a blank window comes up. I cant even disconnect it! The worst. Hard drive. Ever.

Updated : a deep scan recovery tools was able to do a 27 hour scan and recover the missing data. Turns out the default file system has no journaling enabled therefore it was unable to gracefully recover the data. Highly recommend reformatting after receiving the drive. Since reformatting no data lose between many different mounts and unmounts. Received today, went to test it. Copied files from computer A to Samsung T7 drive, copied files from drive to computer B. Move files from computer b to Samsung drive safe eject and plug into computer A all b files missing. Tried all major data recovery tools files are no longer present lost 3 weeks of research. While I dont need the research, it still not an acceptable loss; if this was family photos, dont destroy your data go another route.

I purchased this for my mother who needed storage for her photos since she was upgrading her phone. I’m proud to say Samsung never disappoints with storage. This SSD was smaller than I thought and comes to the size of your palm. It was super light and the colors were very nice. It’s different having a bright red instead of the usual black that most other companies give. The speeds were reading close to the advertising but this could be due to other factors such as The USB port or the device u plugged into. Came with two cables one for USB C and for USB a . So Maxbook pro users after 2017 should look for this if you don’t want to use a Adapter
