This 4TB portable storage device is an outstanding option for anyone in need of a reliable, fast, and durable solution. Many YouTube reviews showcase its impressive speed capabilities, making it a top choice for on-the-go storage/or quick local backup storage (do some research). When purchasing, ensure you have the appropriate connection port, IE: as a minimum USB of 3.2 Gen 2 for optimal performance. Additionally, if you require a longer cable, be sure to use the correct one to maintain optimal speed and functionality. Remember up-to 1050MB/s does not mean that is what you will see. On my Laptop, I average around 900MB/s and I bought my laptop pre-pandemic, I am satisfied with the speed of the drive.

Rugged, small, and fast. The footprint of the drive is about the same as a credit card. You can easily fit it in your pocket. Its super fast and great for storing your data in the field or while traveling.

Easy to connect via USB and Samsung provides connectors for both USB and USB-C. Works right away without any set-up. However, if you are running a Mac, you might want to re-format for Apple File System as it might be a bit faster

I put this ssd under heavy game stress and it barely got warm. 600 to 800 mb file transfers. Better than Sandisk extreme pro which constantly froze computer in use.

I bought this to store my active files for photo and video editing. Previously Ive been using larger capacity external hard drives, but was told that these SSDs were faster and more rugged. I travel a lot and am often shooting at different venues indoors and outdoors, so having a hard drive that can get bounced around in a backpack is important to me. I had held off on buying SSDs in the past because of the smaller storage capacities and higher costs. I was compelled to purchase this after seeing the 2TB capacity at an affordable price point. So far I have not been disappointed. It is lightning fast in noticeable ways. For example, my Lightroom catalogue would take several minutes to load on my old 5TB external hard drive. But on this thing, Lightroom takes seconds. Editing in Photoshop, while not slow, was often cumbersome and took time to run AI filters and other actions. Now its near instant. Saving large image files takes no time at all. Everything just runs smoother, faster, and more efficiently. The SSD is small enough to fit in my pants pocket and has a thick rubberized exterior that protects it from the elements. I have no qualms about tossing it in my backpack and heading out with my gear. Its USB-C connector fits in with my hardware environment without need for adapters or hubs. It has become essential for my gear, and I cant recommend it highly enough.

As a photographer, I was grateful to have a large and portable HD to store files somewhere besides my laptop. I would give 5 stars if I had been using it for a long time. It is small, easy to use and it feels good in my hand.

This SSD is amazing. The data transfer is very fast. More than I imagined. Also I had the bad luck that it suffered a 2ft fall few days ago, and after the event stills working perfectly. I would recommend this product.

This is the best portable SSD I’ve ever had. I’d buy it again in a heartbeat.

Plugged in, reformatted and started using the SSD. Good performance w/o any slow downs on large files (although not constant writing). No loose cable issues so far.
