> 3 dayPurchase this item since it has went down in price from hundred of dollars to $64.99, now $61.95, making it an excellent deal. At least it is cheaper than waiting for my hard drive to breakdown. Went to see how much a professional would charge to install it and clone my old disk drive, since I have never clone a hard drive before, and they want $150 to install and clone the old hard drive. As such I decided to do it myself. The installation was easy. I downloaded the free cloning software from that is mentioned in the FAQ section for this product here on Amazon. I connect the

> 3 dayI bought this to upgrade a 64GB SanDisk SSD that I had in my gaming PC. I gave the PC to a friend, and I wanted to upgrade the SSD before doing so, that way hed have a fresh, new SSD to use, and because 64GB was getting a bit messy to deal with storage-wise (I store most things on a hard drive though). I had no issues with the old SanDisk SSD, so I didnt hesitate to go with another SanDisk SSD to replace it. This was cheap, and seemed like a simple, low cost solution. It arrived, and I right away swapped the SSDs, and re-installed Windows and it is working fine in the few weeks that my friend has been using it. He says its fast, and things load quickly on it, so I am happy. Keep up the great work SanDisk!

> 3 dayWorks perfect and wow is it fast. This is the only way I will build a PC again. Boot times are almost instant. I installed Windows on it in less than 15 minutes. After installation I just pointed all the data-heavy folders to my other terabyte drive and I was good to go. If youre building a new PC this is required buy. Just as important as a video card or ram. One recommendation. Only plug in the SSD for the install. I had my other drive active during the install and windows made it the boot drive even though the OS was on the SSD. I had to reformat both and start from scratch to get the boot and the OS on the SSD.

Greater than one weekPut this into a refurbished HP desktop computer. Required a SATA cable and a 2.5 to 3.5 adapter kit. Install was a snap; the SSD has 4 little screw holes so it mounts easily into the adapter and the existing motherboard had a free slot available (and a power connection). I was able to install windows 7 onto this drive with no issues and it booted fine. If your new drive doesnt show up automatically, right click on My Computer and click manage. Then select Disk management in the left pane. From here, you should be able to find your new SSD and initialize it. After initializing it, it should show up under My Computer like the rest of your drives. [Note, these instructions are for Windows 7 and if you already have another drive installed]. With regard to the speed, as I understand it this drive isnt the fastest one out there, but it is relatively inexpensive and will still make your computer faster than if you were using just a standard disk drive. For me, startup seemed nearly instantaneous and immediately after the home screen came up, I was able to use the computer without any lag.

> 3 dayI bought the 240 GB model for a laptop. I used the free DriveClone to copy the Windows 10 image from a new Acer Core i5 6th generation with a 512 GB HDD. Before the upgrade this new Intel Skylake-based laptop ran like a slug and had constant pauses in Windows. After the upgrade it runs like a dream. I only wish I had put the drive into an optical drive adapter so I didnt have to deal with opening the new laptop. Now I cant even properly close the bottom lid because the 3.5mm jack is blocking the lid from shutting completely. It still works but its a blemish I didnt need and I spend almost an hour opening and closing the lid. Ive included the Crystal Diskmark scores for the 240 GB model.

Greater than one weekOverall I am very pleased with this Sandisk SSD. I had previously purchased other brands of SSDs for my personal machines, but a family members hard drive failed in their MacBook, and I decided a SSD fit the bill for a replacement. This particular user hardly uses any disk space. Their old stock drive was less than 25% full, and it was a 200GB drive. So I recommended this SSD, ordered it, and installed it. The user is extremely pleased with is performance. It used to take their Mac over a minute to start, but now it boots in 16 seconds flat. And when it is on and being used, the Macbook flies right along. It was an amazing speed boost. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

> 3 dayInstalled this SSD on a white MacBook 5.2 as a replacement for the original 120 GB HDD. I was amazed at how easy it is to replace the HDD on these computers, after a long slog replacing the HDD on my 2007 iMac. Disk Utility immediately recognized the SSD, formatted it, and I was able to upgrade the computer to El Capitan and restore the apps and files from Time Machine. All that took longer than the SSD installation, but was simple and straightforward. Watch the videos that OWC has uploaded to YouTube before replacing any HDD in a Mac; they are the best produced and easiest to follow. Result: MacBook now boots in 30 seconds flat; previously took a minute. Apps load almost instantaneously. Would be even faster but the SATA 2.0 in old computers is a bottleneck for data. Wish Id installed an SSD instead of a hybrid drive in the iMac.

> 3 dayFirst time using Sandisk SSD, Unfortunately Sandisk SSD dashboard is not compatible to Win XP OS. So I removed my Samsung 840 Evo SSD from my Lenovo S10-3 Win 7 and tried installing the Sandisk SSD Dashboard there but the display resolution is not compatible as it requires minimum 1024X768 while the Lenovo S10-3 is 1024X600. Very surprised though as the Samsung Magician software still runs on the Lenovo S10-3. Anyway, currently I used EaseUS Todo Back-up free to clone my Win XP machine to the Sandisk SSD and tune the machine to be SSD optimize. I downloaded Sandisk SSD toolkit on my XP machine but it did not recognize the Sandisk SSD PLUS installed. Oh well, I probably switch over one of my Samsung 850 EVO SSD from my MSI Win 7 machine to the XP machine and use the Sandisk SSD PLUS on it. At least if Sandisk has home built cloning software such as Samsung Migrate and Samsung Magician on CD (rather that downloading it), this will ease the user installation experience

> 3 dayI bought 2 of these and used them to clone my wifes and my laptop hard drives so we could use the cloned drives to install the free Windows 10 upgrade and still have Windows 7 hard drives to go back to if we didnt like Windows 10. They worked great for that and these 240 GB drives have enough space for Win 10 and all the programs we need to run. My wife doesnt have a lot of other things stored on her computer so it was big enough for all her needs. I have terabytes of pictures, home movies and videos stored on a second 2 TB internal HD in my laptop and several USB HDs so the 240 GBs was plenty for my system drive. I would recommend these to anyone who needs a fast system drive without a large amount of on board storage.

Greater than one weekRight now, the drive is good. It is running. I hope it is reliable. Good price for a larger size. My last Solid State Drive was Crucial M500. However, the past two weeks it would stop loading up windows forcing me to restart that allowed it to run normal. It did this every time I turned on the computer. Even after I did a windows 10 reset. A reset returns windows to the way it was when you first installed the Operating System. Maybe the drive needed a format. I doubt it. I might choose to cash in on the warranty. I dont think I will be buying Crucial anymore for Solid State Drives.
