Seachem Prime Fresh and Saltwater Conditioner - Chemical Remover and Detoxifier 500 ml

After months of trying to get the parameters of my aquarium water correct this product did it in one application.

I usually buy Prime from my LPS, but they were out of stock at the time. I really like this size for Prime since I have multiple 55+ tanks. While most other water conditioners treat 10g with one cap, Prime can treat 50g per cap. This saves me a lot of money, and Im also very satisfied with the overall quality of this product.

Good product

This stuff works well for dechlorinator and removes ammonia to less toxic forms. It does this by binding it with oxygen, so when you do it make sure to have an air pump in the tank or in the Container you first put the water in. Its a wonderful product for if you have an ammonia spike and need immediate help.

I use prime to neutralize chlorine when adding water to my fish tank. It is necessary to use when recharging Purigen filter bags. The 500ml size is the most economical to purchase.

One of my goldfish was turning black and then developed white fuzzy spots, even though I had been using a dechlorinator from the pet store and doing water changes once a week. After I switched to this Seachem (and started using a Tbsp of aquarium salt at water changes), he has started to look so much better. White spots disappeared in a week, and after 2 months his color is slowly turning back to orange. This bottle costs more than the pet store brand, but I only need about 10 drops per water change so it’ll last me about 5 years, no exaggeration.

I have been using Seachem Prime 500ml for several years in my fish tank. It is the best in my opinion and takes very little to make my fish happy and healthy I wont use anything else! Amazon has the best price I have found.
