People recommend this left and right but it did nothing in my aquarium even though I followed directions on the bottle. From what I have read the bacteria in this do not multiply and are supposed to maintain your bacteria until the natural bacteria grow in a month of cycling. Tetra Safe Start cycled my aquarium in 3 days.

Easy to use. Has a dripper in the cap so you dont have to use the cap. I think the original has a fair better value for your money though. Great product for helping your fish though
