I bought this product in order to avoid drilling holes through my transom. The intent was to use it for mounting a transducer. Unfortunately, my transom is not as flat as it appears at first glance. And the adhesive tape on the stern pad is not thick enough to provide enough conformity. I wish the manufacturer had pointed this out. I am going to have to send it back.

Works great. I was mounting a transducer and didnt really want to drill holes in my hull. I installed this and mounted the device and it is still going strong, even in salt water.

I use these on all of my boats and they work great.they have a good hold if you clean the area properly. It comes with everything you need in the pack

No drilling in hull, worked great for mounting my transducer!!!

Photos make it seem like its rubber, its wood. BUT, works well.

I was a bit skeptical but did some quick research on 3M VHB and decided to try it out. The pad works and was pretty easy to install. The hardest part is selecting the right spot to mount it. I am thrilled that I did not have to put holes under the waterline!
