Sennheiser HD 598 Special Edition Over-Ear Headphones - Black (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

Quality product that arrived earlier than expected and will recommend for anyone looking for a headphone at this price range. The only reason why I chose the black ones is the fact that the beige would look awkward for my computer setup.

Sennheiser HD 598 Special Edition. My first over the head headphone. Although I had tried the Audio Technica M40x & returned them as I dint find them worth Rs 6400. Thanks amazon. This is a dream headphone for all budget buyers, & to get it at Rs 6499 was a lovely gift from amazon. Out of the box, they sound amazing. Excellent soundstage, clarity & depth of music. Bass is exactly as I wanted it to be -not too high but not too low either. They sound exceptionally well with the fiio e06 amplifier. Taylor Swifts You belong with me literally gave a 5.1 surround experience. And all this just in my 2 hours with these piece of marvel. I wonder how much they will improve after a 100 hour burn-in, which I m gonna do just by listening songs. Amazon, please drop the price below Rs 10,000 again so that other people with a low budget can have an experience of magical music.

Comfy, light weight. For the price they sound amazing and they are amazing.

After wearing these I am no longer able to put on any other pair of headphones, these are very comfortable for long periods of time.

so far i absolutely love this headset its just remarkably clear and the pc360 it replaced was already much clearer then the Logitech G35 it replaced. bit low on the base but thats natural for most open back headphones and it can be compensated for through the equalizer. its light, confortable and sounds amazing. unfortunately my longest living Sennheiser product (the pc360) had a busted mic and the end and had a iffy volume wheel since day one so that barely lasted 3 years, also had some In ear hps that all died within 2 years hopefully this one having no mic or volume wheel to break will last a lot longer.

What a pleasure enjoying huge / powerful guitar solos on these headphones. Rediscovered my music. And discovered more. New appetite for listening.

Sennheiser does not dissapoint. Bought these headphones because it is consistently rated well for its price range and it lives up to its name.

New to this, but I would have liked something warmer
