Amazing for the price

The best headphones I have ever purchased, I got them for 110$ last Black Friday and could not be happier. Sound quality is on a whole different level. It gives such a balanced, crisp audio experience which can only be experienced and not told by word of mouth.

I use it every day and it is wonderful! No complaints at all.

Der Name Sennheiser steht seit Jahren für qualitativ hochwertige Produkte im Soundbereich. Der Sennheiser HD598 ist mein zweiter Kopfhörer des Herstellers und überzeugt in nahezu jeder Anforderung. Soundtechnisch bietet Sennheiser mit dem Kopfhörer gewohnt hohe Qualität, die sich vor allem im Hoch- und Mitteltonbereich wiederspiegelt. Leider sind die Bässe des HD598 nicht ausgeprägt genug und könnten nach meinem Empfinden tiefer und voluminöser sein. Gerade bei basslastiger Musik, wie im RnB und Hip-Hop-Bereich üblich, bleibt der Sennheiser etwas hinter meinen hohen Erwartungen zurück. Der Tragekomfort ist ausgezeichnet. Auch nach längerem Tragen klemmt oder zwickt rein gar nichts. Die Ohrmuscheln legen sich sanft am Ohr an und bieten eine erstklassige Abschirmung der Außengeräusche. Insgesamt bietet Sennheiser mit dem HD598 einen erstklassigen Kopfhörer, der soundtechnisch bis auf die zu schwachen Bässe absolut überzeugen kann. Hinzu kommt der exzellente Tragekomfort, der den Kopfhörer in jeder Situation alltagstauglich macht.

Best headphones I have ever experienced. The detail is phenomenal, the comfort level is ridiculous. A super set of headphones, stoked.

I love them, the sound the quality the colour. Really nice and definitely an improvement. Although as I was sitting here, just about 2 weeks after I recieved them I was scratching the back of my head when I noticed a clicking sound. Well as I was testing them by shaking my head side to side a few times, it got significantly worse very fast. Now its like a rainstick type of sound. I am contacting Amazon now about this, hopefully something can be done as this is my best pair of headphones, besides my 50x and my DT770s.

They do great in both music and video games. They give you a nice neutral sound for anything you need.

Absolutely wonderful set of headphones. Bought them to replace my Audio Technica ATH-M50. These are FAR more comfortable, and can be worn for extended periods of time. The highs arent as overpowering as the ATH-M50, giving you a slightly more balanced sound. Theyre a bit more flimsy than the M50s and feel cheaper, but I suppose thats why theyre also much lighter than the M50s and more comfortable to wear. I recommend these for anyone and everyone looking for an extremely comfortable, great sounding headphone.

These are very clear and amazing headphones, however, if youre purely looking for base over clarity or sound stage, you may actually want to go with another option, for some, the base just wont have enough kick to it.
