> 3 dayI had a pair of $300 Pioneer DJ headphones I loved, but needed replaced. Decided to save 50% and give Sennheiser a try. Would I buy again? Hmm, honestly I wish I had spent the extra $150 and bought another pair of Pioneers, but I think for most people these will be adequate, I just dont think they are perfectly suited to bass-heavy EDM.

> 3 dayThese headphones are extremely good and durable, theyve been my favorite companion to almost everywhere I go for 2 years. Soundwise, they are great for the value, mostly flat and detailed sound just a liiitle bit V shaped response. Totally recommend these as entry hifi and very durable headphones.

> 3 dayThese are not everyday use headphones. These are true DJ headphones. Theyre not for producing either. If you keep them on your ears for 2 consecutive hours they will start digging into your ears and thats not comfortable at all. However, they are truly perfect as DJ headphones. Well balanced sound, good grip so they dont slide down when theyre resting on your head. Im glad I purchased these.

> 3 dayThese headphones are really nice. The sound quality and the noise cancellation is really nice. I also like the capability of being able to fold one of the ears off to the side, i works well when mixing music. My only complaint is that the headphones themselves are a bit small for my big ears. They put alot of pressure on them and after not even 30 minutes, my ears start to hurt. Sad since I paid a pretty penny for them, but that was my own fault for not looking into it more.

> 3 dayI thought Id upgrade to these after having a pair of Sony Professional over ears for the first few years I learned to DJ. These cost about 60 bucks more so I expected them to be great. Good: The sound on these is excellent and barely anything is lost with the on-ear design. Theyre lightweight and comfortable, you could mix with these for hours and your ears wont get sore or sweaty. Bad: Every negative thing about these comes down to the build quality. The rubber pads peel immediately after you start using them, right off the bat. The wire is super short, so these things get ripped off your head pretty frequently if youre active behind the decks. After that, it was about three months before the connectors started getting loose and making crackling noises and drops in volume. I constantly have to fiddle with the connectors to get the sound to come through correctly. The connectors are not enclosed, so its easy to bump them and loosen them. Eventually, the left one started to do the same. It was too far outside a return window to do anything about this and Im pretty unsatisfied with these. Stick with cheaper Sony headphones until you can go up one more tier and stay far away from these.

> 3 dayNice headphones to be sure - but I take issue with calling them DJ headphones. They dont have the swivel ear and are kind of small/unwieldy (if that combination makes sense) for mixing. The build and sound quality is great, so I definitely recommend them in general, I would just go with something else for actual DJing.

Greater than one weekI was super in-between buying these or the ATH-M50X as a pair of headphones for some entry-level mixing. Im really happy that I decided to buy these ones as they work perfect for what Im looking for. Theyre super lightweight and they dont really squeeze your head very much - so lots of points for comfort! I also really enjoy the sound quality of these headphones. As someone who doesnt have a lot of experience with over-ear headphones, I think this was a great purchase as my first pair. They have great mids/lows and in my opinion the perfect amount of bass. This makes for really good listening for any edm tracks which is what I primarily mix. Although these headphones arent specifically noise cancellation, they do also isolate sound very well. Im taking one star off for these headphones because Im a little unimpressed by their quality. If I hadnt done any kind of research and looked at these in a store, I would have not been impressed. They feel a little cheap in my opinion for being $150 and the padding around the ears/top of the head is very plasticy. Despite this, I would still buy these headphones because Im really impressed with their sound quality, comfort, and their sound isolation.
