> 3 dayThese are perfect for all types of music. I mostly listen to ska punk, rock, and metal and I am absolutely blown away by how much of my favorite tracks my pair of Beats earbuds was hiding from me. The bass is just right without being exaggerated and the treble is so spectacularly clear. I only have two complaints: opening the headband seems to damage/pinch the wires that lead to the actual headphones, and within a week I experienced some times when my music would stop because my phone registered the device as having been removed when it hadnt. The second is possibly due to wear and tear (I was rather unkind to the wire during my first few days of use), but the first is definitely a manufacturing issue. I worry that over time Ill need to replace this wire. Overall, definitely recommend.

Greater than one weekAbsolutely incredible. Words can’t even describe. Produce for over 5 years and have always been looking for some quality headphones that are accurate “sonically”. I can’t always use my KRK monitors and sometimes those don’t even provide a proper bass reference. These are amazing. If you’re like me, you like to study music and figure out all the tricks in a song. These let you truly listen to every layer. Made me go back and listen to all my favorite artist. It’s a whole different experience.. if you’re worried about the price, it’s a great investment just like any gear!!! 100/10

Greater than one weekThank you for offering this product on Amazon. I love the brand and I am fully aware of how they pack their items in the boxes. Upon delivery, the box did not have proper wrapping or seal. Inside the box - headphones were just placed in the black sheet instead of being wrapped and placed in box containers.

Greater than one weekTheres a good reason these have been a standard for DJs over the last 25+ years. Comfortable, light weight and sound great.

Greater than one weekI tested at least 20 headsets ($150 to $350 range), in the same location, at the same time, using my iphone, on the same song ( with very dynamic highs and lows, volume shifts, etc ) and these headphones blew every one of them away. The comparison to the others wasn’t even close. The bass response was so impressive, the mids very clean (not muffled) and the highs are so crisps and clean its hard to believe. You have to compare headphones side by side to really know how good a pair is. You can’t check one out then drive to another location and compare. So why a 4 star? I thought these headphones were made in Ireland. All the reviews, videos and pictures I saw show made in Ireland. Well, not any more. Sennheiser opened a new factory in Romania. Apparently this is where all the consumer electronics gear is now made. Sorry Romania nothing against you, but I feel, perhaps unjustified, more confidence in products from Ireland. Thats one reason why I bought. So a big let down with made in Romania for me. At least it didn’t say made in China. I would think the new factory in Romania is state of the art as it just opened so maybe Im wrong on this. But still disappointed.

> 3 dayI’ve been a DJ for 40 years and always knew of these but never got a pair or even tried them. I was super late to this party (lol) but they definitely are what everyone says they are. AMAZING

> 3 dayThese were my first DJ headphones. They are virtually weightless and extremely flexible. I could wear them a couple of hours at a time and not be in agony. Even, clear sound - not the bassiest choice you can make for sound though. HOWEVER: They lasted about a year before the connection went to crap and the right cable began to short out. Now, they require me to wiggle, press and bend on the right side (red) connection point in order for both sides to work, and its not always stable, even or consistent. And of course, wouldnt you know it, this happened just out of warranty and Sennheiser didnt deem them worthy of repair. It really drove me nuts and I had to replace them. Since I was mad at Sennheiser I went with a different brand, at which time I learned that I really like a coiled, detachable cable with ONE connection point, and that I prefer over-ear cups to on-ear. Your mileage may vary on all of this - the fit, how you perceive the sound, whether they stay functional for you, but this was my experience with these entry-level cans and I wouldnt buy them again. If I didnt prefer over-ears to on-ears, Id make the investment in the HD25 plus model and skip these altogether though, because yeah, senni sound.

> 3 dayI got these instead of the pioneer x7 because they were a little cheaper and because a few reviews of the x7 said they break after a year. The hd25 arent as comfy as the x7 becuase the earcups are kinda small and the hd25 sound isnt as good as the x7 in the low end the hd25 start to break up and distort. The hd25 do come with replacement earcup wires in case your wires go bad. The hd25 cancel outside noise well and are loud enough to handle a club environment with heavy bass. Overall happy with the purchase.

> 3 dayI thought Id upgrade to these after having a pair of Sony Professional over ears for the first few years I learned to DJ. These cost about 60 bucks more so I expected them to be great. Good: The sound on these is excellent and barely anything is lost with the on-ear design. Theyre lightweight and comfortable, you could mix with these for hours and your ears wont get sore or sweaty. Bad: Every negative thing about these comes down to the build quality. The rubber pads peel immediately after you start using them, right off the bat. The wire is super short, so these things get ripped off your head pretty frequently if youre active behind the decks. After that, it was about three months before the connectors started getting loose and making crackling noises and drops in volume. I constantly have to fiddle with the connectors to get the sound to come through correctly. The connectors are not enclosed, so its easy to bump them and loosen them. Eventually, the left one started to do the same. It was too far outside a return window to do anything about this and Im pretty unsatisfied with these. Stick with cheaper Sony headphones until you can go up one more tier and stay far away from these.
