After only literally having these headphones for two weeks, the left ear is the only one playing any sound. I have encountered this issue before but usually after some reasonable wear and tear from using them out. Literally only used these once or twice and kept them secured in q case. For the price of $120 they are a total RIP OFF. Never purchasing again.

These headsets are just great, ready for you to take them wherever you go. Excellent for noisy places and for booths with no noise cancellation. Great audio quality

I love the headphones, which is no surprise because I loved the previous version (HD 25-1 II). My only note to buyers is to make sure you are careful whom you buy it from. I bought this listing beliving that it would be the HD25 Plus (as thats what it says in the product title) which comes with a pouch, extra pads, a curled cable and a little bit higher of a price to match. What I got in the box instead was the base HD-25 (no difference in the headphones themselves, just the accessories and slightly cheaper of course) which is annoying. Not enough to be really mad, but its made it clear that headphones are probably one of the things I will have to buy in person so I know exactly what Im getting before they get my money.

bought these to replace MDR-v6s I was using for film sound monitoring, the upgrade was a long time coming. a little tight, adjusted with a CAREFUL couple minutes of setting across the knees and warming with a hairdryer, removing/checking and repeating the process. Didnt want to chance over-stretching and attempt to re-compress. sound is phenomenal, arrived in the mail, immediately used them as a personal stereo off of a blackberry priv running Blackplayer at full volume, bass boost and amplifier(4kmDB) Behemoth, Justice, Anilah, RATM, and Chopin. the HD25s struggled a bit with RATM and Justices heavier bass, but at listenable headphone (master)volume (amp and bass still maxed) there were no issues. Very nice, lightweight, and simple construction that lends itself to getting beat up and still working perfectly. only downside for me is a personal preferance, I CANNOT find an aftermarket or OEM cable that allows for a left side cable.

I was super in-between buying these or the ATH-M50X as a pair of headphones for some entry-level mixing. Im really happy that I decided to buy these ones as they work perfect for what Im looking for. Theyre super lightweight and they dont really squeeze your head very much - so lots of points for comfort! I also really enjoy the sound quality of these headphones. As someone who doesnt have a lot of experience with over-ear headphones, I think this was a great purchase as my first pair. They have great mids/lows and in my opinion the perfect amount of bass. This makes for really good listening for any edm tracks which is what I primarily mix. Although these headphones arent specifically noise cancellation, they do also isolate sound very well. Im taking one star off for these headphones because Im a little unimpressed by their quality. If I hadnt done any kind of research and looked at these in a store, I would have not been impressed. They feel a little cheap in my opinion for being $150 and the padding around the ears/top of the head is very plasticy. Despite this, I would still buy these headphones because Im really impressed with their sound quality, comfort, and their sound isolation.

These headphones are extremely good and durable, theyve been my favorite companion to almost everywhere I go for 2 years. Soundwise, they are great for the value, mostly flat and detailed sound just a liiitle bit V shaped response. Totally recommend these as entry hifi and very durable headphones.

Originally, I was put off by the cheap feeling construction... That is, until I put them on and heard the quality of the sound. These are great headphones... The range of the HD 25s is very good; I feel the bass is rich and and mids/highs are crisp. Sennheiser has found a good balance between low and high range frequencies. I cranked my volume pretty high and I did not hear any clipping or distortion. I am very please with these and they even sound better if you pair them with a DAC! If you are an audiophile, these are great starters.

would be nice if manufacturer made some discounts on this product even 1 day in a year. and adding some additional wires and spare parts inside too. but quality is excellent, nothing to add. thanks to manufacturer again, we are happy

Ive been using this model headphone for about 20 years professionally as a medical transcriptionist. Back in the day the cord was rubberized, non tangle and non kinking.. The phones themselves sounded great. I used them about 10 hours a day between work and recreationally. Fast forward to about 5 years ago when I bought a new pair after my original beloved set gave up the ghost and just fell apart. The cord was now a much cheaper plasticized cord that never straightened out and stayed permanently bent and kinked. One of the headphone wires developed a short or some sort of contact issue that made it stop working until the cord was unplugged from the speaker and then plugged back in. This happened constantly. Bear in mind that both cords going to both headphones are detachable and can be unplugged from the headset. So I bought yet another pair that had the same issue of sound shorting out in one headphone until the cord was unplugged and then replugged. This happened multiple times daily. Same cheapo plasticized cord. Then I Googled and discovered that the cord connection was the source of a problem for many people, some of whom offered self-fixes on YouTube or other websites. A new cord is outrageously expensive, in the 40-50 dollar range. So in my experience these are not what they used to be, not even close. Be aware of the cord shorting issue before you buy and think about whether you want to risk having the same issue that has plagued many owners of these headphones.

Cups fit tight - even on my narrow female head (and I have small ears, too). Its good for the noise isolation. Its meant to be that way. Only the left ear cup swivels. I thought both would, so that was a small letdown since I didnt see mentioned anywhere. I didnt even get a bag or anything to hold the headphones. I knocked off a star because even all of my $100 casual/budget/gaming headphones that I bought over the years ALL came with a nylon bag at least. I guess they had to skimp out somewhere, he? Do NOT, I repeat, do NOT buy these for casual listening to keep on your head straight for several hours. They are not meant for that purpose. Your ears will choke, get sweaty and get fatigued.
