Sennheiser Professional HD 280 PRO Over-Ear Monitoring Headphones

I had the Sennheiser HD 205s for a few years and really liked them. Well, my little one got after them and chewed a short in the wire. I went to shop around and ended up walking out with these HD 280s. Mainly based on me liking Senhheiser from my other pair. As far as sound, these are great! I knew I couldnt go wrong in that area with these headphones. My concerns were comfort and durability. I will say these are WAY more comfortable than the 205s. The 205s were very tight fitting and honestly contributed to headaches. These are snug enough to move around without worry of them falling off, however, they are not too loose and they cup your ears perfectly. I also really like the coil wire. It allows for more movement and flexibility. Noise reduction from exterior noises is great. Not 100% noise reduction, but no complaints either. They are made sturdy yet flexible, and the chord is a lot more thicker than the 205s. With that being said, my little one will not have the opportunity to get a hold of these to chew on.

Pros:

This give superb sound quality and are a comfortable fit. The only downfall is that the cord is a bit long, but the seller is willing to customize your length for a small price!

This is my second pair of these headphones. They have amazing sound quality, good sound insulation and are comfortable to wear.

Its really good product but I would like to suggest to buy if you have good sound set up. Lil bit tight, after some hours starts pain.

For the money or twice the price, these are by far the best headphones Ive owned. What you get is a velvety sound with clarity and warmth. The bass is present but not boomy, the highs are never overwhelming. Suitable for any kind of mixes and genres. I rediscovered my whole music collection! Buy with confidence, you wont be disapointed.

Comfortable and sound good for the price range. My purpose is for online meetings and some recording audio with a mixer. I do not use these for listening to music.

Sound fantastic. Better bass response after breaking them in. I like the balance overall better than the Audio Technica line. They cost a bit more than some, but well worth it.
