Sennheiser Professional HD 280 PRO Over-Ear Monitoring Headphones

I love the sound of these headphones but to be honest the experience of wearing them is completely ruined by the coiled cable. When I am sat at my workstations with these on, I have to wear something with long sleeves because the coily cable on them just constantly nips at the hairs on your arm, its so uncomfortable!! It ruins the experience for me, and for a sub £100 set of phones, they sound superb, really clear across the full spectrum.

They work great

I have 3 pr of Sennheiser headphones - no more. My last pair my daughter got for her birthday after a short time they quit working. Sent in for warranty work they found a bad cable and stated a cable replacement would be sent separately. They returned the headphones we never received a cable. Have a Sennheiser account sent e:mail to warranty service company, no response, sent email to Sennheiser through my account, no response. They did not stand behind their product or even provide any type of response. They could even have said the warranty doesnt cover a cable I would have been somewhat ok with that - but zero response is pretty dissatisfying.

My wife researched these before we bought them, and she uses these everyday with her cell phone to listen to music, etc. They work very well, and theyre worth what we paid for them.

the folks at Sennheiser must not have large heads. As with about every pair of headphones that I try on, I had to extend these all the way to fit. After a few months of daily use, the plastic headband began to develop small cracks. Now the cracks are growing and I fear that the whole thing will just snap one day. Unfortunately, that is one of the parts that isnt listed as replaceable.

I like to consider myself very particular when it comes to audio, and have experienced many surround, stereo, and headphone systems. I have found that Sennheiser produces consistent quality with their product and own a number of their headphones. I decided to buy this pair for my brother - one of the Im fine with whatever types as a present to introduce him to quality sound. Let me tell you, he was quite impressed.

Love them. These are even lighter than its predecesor. The sound and fit are great.

Always been a big fan of this brand. I use these for our Front of the House Audio Engineers. They are great for that. I recommend these.

Good quality sound & well insulated. Slightly better than the Bayer Dynamics I had before but a bit heavier. Couldnt wear these for long in a hot studio.

Really good audio quality for the price!
