> 3 dayThis is a first impression review based on features and a first use to vacuum my whole house. Pros: The suction is absolutely amazing. It almost sticks to the floor when vacuuming a low height area rug. The swivel feature is great for reaching under furniture. Its lightweight but still very powerful.[[ The detach feature and the arm are convenient and lightweight. Cons: The upholstery attachment doesnt have a hard attachment to the suction arm. It just sort of wiggles into place but because the suction of the vacuum is so good, the upholstery attachment pops off easily. I had to hold it into place with my free hand as I was vacuuming my couch. That was rather disappointing since vacuuming my couch was a big reason why I bought this vacuum. It accomplishes that goal but is not as easy as I would have hoped. Maybe in time I will figure out a way to do it easier? No other cons, really...

> 3 dayThis vacuum is absolutely spectacular! Whoever designed it deserves an engineering medal. PROS: -Clear simple instructions and easy assembly -Suction is INCREDIBLY strong and is adjustable?! (super cool! and works!) -Lift away feature is EVERYTHING. I swapped back and forth multiple times and it was SOOOO convenient. -Washable filters. -Upholstery tool works! We have two high shedding doggos. Took a little elbow grease for some embedded hair but absolutely got the job done. I like that it doesnt have bristles since all that does is trap hair and creates one more thing to clean. -Everything from the canister clips, canister handle, release buttons, to the power button, are well placed, well shaped, and work! Even the clicks of pieces being connected is clear and slick. CONS (barely) -Weighs a little more than you might expect, wouldnt recommend for elderly folks (although putting it on a rolling cart could solve that) -Wouldnt reach vaulted ceilings from the floor. Perfect for regular ceiling height (Although if youre super short you may still need a boost). -Accessory attachment hindered from getting the wand as far under some furniture as I would have liked and couldnt seem to wriggle the holder off once it was secured on the wand. Super minor and you could choose to not put it on. This thing really blows me away. It just...WORKS! LOVE LOVE LOVE AND LOVE SOME MORE. ❤️

Greater than one weekI was amazed at how much dirt, dust, and hair this picked up from my carpeting! It has really strong suction, and I was also happy with the job it did on hard floors as well. I did keep the brush rollers going on the hard floors because I wasnt worried about any minor marking or scratching of my floors, and I think this helped pick up everything. PRO: Cleans up dirt very well. CON: Not as good as more expensive models. Feels like a cheap, tipsy, toy.

Greater than one weekI like this little vacuum. It is the first upright I have owned, I always had canisters. The reason it has only 4 stars is that emptying the bag-less canister is yucky. See below. I thought I’d list pros and cons. It generally works very well. PROs It really sucks (in a good way). Very powerful suction. Especially great if you have dogs that shed out an undercoat. It has a detachable hose with tools that lets you clean in crevices or under furniture. Or if you REALLY need major suction you can use the hose. The hose is a little short, but it is convenient. It is compact. We tended to keep out canister vacuum in the living room because we used it every day. It was ugly and took up a lot of space. This one fits in a corner and doesn’t take up much space. I like that it sits upright and doesn’t fall over when I want to stop it for a second. I like the twisting head which really does make it easy to maneuver. A switch that turns it on for floors only or for carpet is convenient. CONs The main thing that is bad is emptying the plastic waste container. There are a lot of very fine particles. I have to empty it outside and into a used plastic shopping bag. You really don’t want to breath the dust in, you might even want to wear a respirator mask. Also, the dog hair gets stuck way up in the container, where the middle is blocked by the round hose connection, and it is very hard to get out. I have to use a thin twig to coax the clumps of hair out. I find this annoying. Did I mention that there is a lot of super fine dirt/dust? It is heavy to push and pull. Of course, I am used to a canister, so if you are used to an upright it might not seem heavy to you. The power cord is shorter than my old vacuum so I have to re-plug it in all the time as I move around the house. You have to hold the power cord up out of the way so you don’t vacuum over it. You experienced upright users might not have a problem with this. I don’t know yet about the filters. The Shark brand filters are very expensive, especially the HEPA filter, so I bought non-Shark branded filters. I don’t know how they are going to work. I try to wash out the stock filters pretty frequently so they don’t get too gummed up. Since they have to dry for 24 hours after washing them it might be convenient to have an extra set that you alternate with. UPDATE June 2021: So the hose on this vacuum is a piece of junk. If you try to use it to clean crevasses or furniture by unhooking the top part, the hose just cracks after a couple of months. It breaks even if I am being very careful (which I have been). I have had to buy TWO replacements to the tune of $40 each. I would not buy this vacuum again. Between this piece of junk hose and the huge amounts of fine dust that accumulates in the receptacle that you have to get exposed to, it is better to get something else.

> 3 dayI just unboxed this and did one quick clean in our small living room, dining room and kitchen. Granted, we hadn’t vacuumed in close to a week because our last one died and we went back and forth a bit on which one to buy as a replacement. So the floors were pretty gross! I am impressed by the suction power and just how much it got up. The brush roll is strong and when it’s on, it feels like the vacuum is propelling itself forward. My only complaint is how short the hose. It’s designed so you have to lift the whole vacuum barrel up in order to really use the hose. It’s awkward and cumbersome compared to the Dyson we had before. I wish the hose was at least twice as long so I didn’t have to bring the barrel with me all over the house. It’ll just take some getting used to, it’s not annoying enough to return it or not recommend the vacuum. Overall, it’s a great vacuum for the price and I’d recommend it. Pictured is all the dirt and grime it picked up after one quick run (we only have one shorthair cat!). Truly impressive!

> 3 dayFirst of all, I am reviewing the Shark NV360 Navigator Lift-Away Deluxe Upright of my own accord, not for any incentives. Just a good old fashioned, honest review. We have had many vacuums over the years, from Bissell, Hoover, Eureka and yes, even the over-priced, over-hyped Dyson (which was a huge disappointment and lasted 2 years before the ball didnt rotate and lost suction). I initially ordered another Eureka, thinking that the vacuum industry has gone downhill, and we are forced to buy the cheap plastic machines that last 2 years then need to buy another. I tried the Eureka and it was absolutely horrid - returned and began another search. I called a friend of mine who recommended the Shark. I bought this one, the NV360. It arrived in 3 days and I tried it immediately. Long story short, my Daughter and I were fighting over who was going to vacuum the next room in the house! LOL!!! The oriental rugs were changing back to their bright colors, the carpet was standing up again, leaving vacuum trails, we had to empty the container 5 times due to the amount of gunk this beautiful machine was collecting that had not been cleaned up from our last vacuum!!! It was a beautiful moment! If you have been in the same situation, thinking there is no more awesome vacuums left in this world, never fear! BUY THIS THING NOW!!!! :) You will thank me later!
