I just received this today, delivered on scheduled day. It was incredibly easy to assemble and it took me a short amount of time. Easy to see what the previous vacuum was leaving behind. *Pros: light-weight, good suction, swivel head reaches small places easily *Cons: feels cheap, deck is only 11 wide and accessories are pointless, cord is SHORT, dust canister isnt easy to remove I purchased this for a showroom with short church berber carpet that has the occasional dog visit. The suction worked great. Its really just a no frills vacuum, very small. Time will tell, but I wouldnt purchase this again at almost $200, Id try another model.

I just unboxed this and did one quick clean in our small living room, dining room and kitchen. Granted, we hadn’t vacuumed in close to a week because our last one died and we went back and forth a bit on which one to buy as a replacement. So the floors were pretty gross! I am impressed by the suction power and just how much it got up. The brush roll is strong and when it’s on, it feels like the vacuum is propelling itself forward. My only complaint is how short the hose. It’s designed so you have to lift the whole vacuum barrel up in order to really use the hose. It’s awkward and cumbersome compared to the Dyson we had before. I wish the hose was at least twice as long so I didn’t have to bring the barrel with me all over the house. It’ll just take some getting used to, it’s not annoying enough to return it or not recommend the vacuum. Overall, it’s a great vacuum for the price and I’d recommend it. Pictured is all the dirt and grime it picked up after one quick run (we only have one shorthair cat!). Truly impressive!

First of all, I am reviewing the Shark NV360 Navigator Lift-Away Deluxe Upright of my own accord, not for any incentives. Just a good old fashioned, honest review. We have had many vacuums over the years, from Bissell, Hoover, Eureka and yes, even the over-priced, over-hyped Dyson (which was a huge disappointment and lasted 2 years before the ball didnt rotate and lost suction). I initially ordered another Eureka, thinking that the vacuum industry has gone downhill, and we are forced to buy the cheap plastic machines that last 2 years then need to buy another. I tried the Eureka and it was absolutely horrid - returned and began another search. I called a friend of mine who recommended the Shark. I bought this one, the NV360. It arrived in 3 days and I tried it immediately. Long story short, my Daughter and I were fighting over who was going to vacuum the next room in the house! LOL!!! The oriental rugs were changing back to their bright colors, the carpet was standing up again, leaving vacuum trails, we had to empty the container 5 times due to the amount of gunk this beautiful machine was collecting that had not been cleaned up from our last vacuum!!! It was a beautiful moment! If you have been in the same situation, thinking there is no more awesome vacuums left in this world, never fear! BUY THIS THING NOW!!!! :) You will thank me later!

In spite of what other reviewers have said, in spite of the promotionals have said, this unit is NOT suitable for seniors unless they are fit with good muscle strength and strong backs. Im an 80 yr old woman, in fairly good condition and still struggle with this thing. Even just using the cannister part after removal from the base, is a load to carry. I cannot recommend this for most other seniors. HOWEVER, otherwise this is a really nice vaccuum cleaner. Pros: does not overheat like previous Shark vacuums good suction huge dust cup that is easy to empty and clean easy to assemble, take parts apart and back together again easy to maneuver the base part cute idea for the storage of small tools for different functions washable, easily replaceable filters Cons: HEAVY (cant be overstated) I cant imagine hauling the dustcup and hose up stairs one step at a time trying to vacuum each step. Considering that the liftaway apparatus with hose and attachments plus cord dragging behind weighs something close to 10 pounds that means that lifting it up 15 stairs equals lifting 150 pounds in all tools are really small the idea of dusting with it is a joke, the hose is too short, the pipe to the tool is too long making maneuvering the head difficult at any angle especially when holding the heavy dustcup apparatus in the other hand. Wish list for this and all other vacuum cleaners A floor dusting tool that is 8to12 inches wide with soft bristles. Using the head to dust the floors is generally not a great idea. I use a very old head from an vacuum of long ago, taped onto the pipe part when I need to get into corners and under furniture near the legs. A machine that is light yet not flimsy, or carelessly made, wont break after a year or two of use. Promotional ads that dont call a heavy machine light, that state the weight of each part as well as the whole, that states the size of the dustcup in cups or quarts. If a machine is stated as being good for seniors, show an average senior woman of at least 70, cleaning a room, using each part, in real time. What? Too much to ask?

I purchased this vacuum to replace an older, bulkier vacuum that had lost suction. So far this little vacuum has been amazing. When it arrived and I took it out of the box, I was a little apprehensive when I saw how narrow the vacuum was. My first thought was that I was going to have to do so much more work to get my floors clean. The vacuum arrived in several large pieces, so I used the manual to get it all put together. It only took a couple minutes, and was not difficult. After I got it all put together, I read through all the features and how to use them. You can detach the canister from the roller base, in order to clean stairs, or other awkward places. It is definitely helpful on stairs. The one thing I do want to note though, is that my stairs are carpeted, and the detached canister did not sit well on the carpeted stairs, and I had to use my knee to make sure it didnt tip over and tumble down the stairs. There is an upholstery attachment with a roller that spins when attached to wand and vacuum is on. This is good for the stairs as well. There is also a very long, extendible thin wand that is mean to help clean under couches and large furniture. There is also a crevice tool. This vacuum is significantly lighter than my previous vacuum, and pivots and turns incredibly easily. This vacuum also has very powerful suction, and almost makes it seem like it is self propelled. You can also adjust the suction if you are vacuuming a thick carpet, or an area rug, and are trying to keep the vacuum from grabbing onto your carpet. The first time I used this vacuum, it had only been a couple days since i had vacuumed with my old vacuum, but I filled an entire canister just vacuuming my living room and dining room area rugs, and my stairs. The canister is a little smaller than my old vacuum, but if it does a significantly better job, I can handle emptying it a little more frequently. I am very happy with my purchase so far. If you found my review helpful, I would love it if you would click yes.

This is my favorite vacuum ever. My only complaint is the hose is kinda short and doesnt stretch much. It finally killed mine. I guess after 3 years of heavy use, I pulled on the hose too much and it broke. Theres a big hole in it now. Im just going to buy another though!

I do like this product for variable, like I can take part off and carry portable as need to be like vacuum on the stair and inside of my bed/water bed (I tried to clean so no bed bug there), but little issues is that try to get all part connect to get power smoothly is little difficult and brush roller is at first difficult to get rolling while vacuum, so there is kind of control on handle hose turn, to make brush roller working properly but its get good job, and very powerful suck it up. Only downside, is no headlight as few vacuum design had those, great when vacuum in dark area where light cant reach under stuff or hiding or stair in basement and taking part off and back in as need, make me wonder if it strong or weak design in long term. but I had those for first day and glad its variable and powerful vacuum, but design is question when take all part together and do normal vacuum to get that brush roller working. Its good yet I dont know how good it endurance is and petty much its cost lot to me, depend on who and how much person earning income. But I had no choice due bed bug bite, my other cheap vacuum isnt good so I brought it for fighting war on bed bug bite in long terms (I know heat stuff, but its simple too much money and not work as bed bug hide in wall that keep them safe from heat, and fleeing once room got hot, possible risk damage or melt my stuff (if I remove it, what point, I want to make sure everything bed bug touch got destroyed but they are very sneaking and small, to next room and I cant afford money like that so I am hopeful MGK 1852 Crossfire Concentrate will get all those bed bug get destroyed. I think its worse than tick and mosquito, its easier to combat tick and mosquito like eating raw gartic, but may not work on bed bug and where my skin got itchy for almost week now where mosquito and tick is less than a couple hours. Thank you for reading my review post, Im appreciated it.
