> 3 dayMy husband got this cleat set because he is an avid rider and he says Shimano is a reliably good brand. Hes had them for a while and they are good quality.

Greater than one weekI used the yellow variety of shimano spd-sl cleat for few years and was generally satisfied with their performance, but when these blue ones came out with no float, I gave them a try just to see if I could notice the difference. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I much preferred these blue ones, with the no-float aspect, as they feel more secure and like it delivers more power to the pedal.

> 3 dayWent from the 6 degree, yellow SH-11s. Proper setup is more critical but Im quite comfortable after some tweaking and seem to generate a little more power on the sprints.

> 3 dayMy son bought these and has notched up around 20 trips of 40 miles per trip, plus some sprint worked with the club he joined. The cleats are still working well, connecting and disconnecting as required. He finds the 6 deg float maybe a little too much for him, but that has nothing to do with the product. They appear to be good quality and good value for money.

> 3 dayWish I had switched long ago. These stay locked in much better, with just enough play that they dont feel to restrictive to my knees.

> 3 dayWell, these are just cleats, they help to get fixed to your pedals... What should we expect for them? -Secure connection & disconnection? Successful -Durability? Mediocre... Maybe its because I used them on triathlons & fell down several times on stormy race conditions. One part of the soft yellow compound teared off in a crash. Im not blaming the cleats, but I would be happier if they could endure such conditions. -Weight? OK... I think that product range cannot be much more lighter than these, without taking risks on durability... -Comfort & power distribution? Good... Before the Shimano SPD-SL system, I was using Egg Beaters. Great system, but once I began to be stronger on my pedaling, the floating became an issue. Additionaly the systems power distribution is highly dependable on the shoes sole quality. On the other hand, Shimano SPD-SL system is much more stable & you feel that much more power is transferred to the crank. One last thing; I didnt use the fixed version -0 degree floatable- of these cleats. But I didnt face any problem with this yellow type in terms of floatability. To sum up, if you have Shimano pedals you simply use them.

> 3 dayI have about 500 miles of use of these cleats. They are holding up very well. I have walked about 3/4 of a mile off road with theses on my cycling shoes. (Occasionally i have to do a little bit of walking down a off road trail to get from A to B). The cleats are made of a tough durable material. My cleats get banged up a bit by tiny rocks and they still hold up very well. I highly recommend these cleats.
